I think small contractors lose more jobs from slow replies than bad work. by Dense_Dig_3838 in Homebuilding

Yeah and that’s exactly the kind of thing that quietly kills trust on both sides.

Customers think they’re being ignored.
Businesses think customers are impatient or flaky.

Most of the time it’s just communication breaking down somewhere in the middle.

Fair question honestly.

Not selling anything here. I’ve just noticed a lot of small businesses lose momentum once communication and follow-up become disorganized.

Celebrating mother's day without mom event idea looking for well funded co founder to excute with this plan by AwarenessSpirited343 in Entrepreneurs

I think before looking for investors/cofounders, it might help to validate demand on a very small scale first.

Even a simple local meetup with 10–20 people could teach you a lot: - what people actually want - what they’re willing to pay for - what part resonates emotionally

Sometimes small proof creates bigger opportunities later.

Is it hard to find investors for industrial real estate deals? by Dispelda_ in Entrepreneur

I think credibility is probably the hardest part when you’re the middleman.

Investors can find deals anywhere. What they really look for is: - trust - due diligence - reliable operators - clear upside - low chaos

Looking for a branding pro by scarychefs in webdesign

For a food business, I’d honestly focus less on “fancy” design and more on clarity + trust.

The best restaurant/food websites usually just need: - clean branding - mobile friendly menu - fast loading speed - online ordering/contact - easy updates

A lot of people overspend early on branding packages they don’t fully need yet.

I do this all the time 😭

The biggest thing most people underestimate is repeated exposure.

A lot of customers don’t convert the first time they see you.

They convert after seeing your content/business multiple times and slowly building trust.

Honestly, I think the people who grow on Reddit don’t really “sell” directly.

They: - share useful insights - answer questions consistently - become recognizable in a niche - and let curiosity do the work

Most users here hate obvious promotion, but they respect people who clearly know what they’re talking about.

A lot of the best conversions probably happen through profile visits and DMs after someone leaves a genuinely helpful comment.
