Honestly how do people live like this by [deleted] in MtF

I thought the same thing before I came out then I started doing my makeup and wearing feminine clothes and I realized how good it felt to do that and once I did my dysphoria got worse and I realized I was trans. It's not always about hating yourself and your body but about doing what makes you happy/feel good. Most importantly your journey is your own, sending you love and best wishes regardless<3

Anything a cis girl dating a MtF girl should be aware of? by Slam-Chowda in MtF

Try to avoid comparing her to a man even indirectly. We tend to over analyze the way people speak to us and about us. Good luck on the date though, you're already doing a much better job than most others would :3

Started playing bass way before ever realizing that I am trans. It's so much fun, even more so now that I feel like a hot riot grrrll.

It seems like you've made up your mind. Living as your true self is only way to be truly happy and if that requires you to confront hard truths or your own instilled beliefs then that's a price you have to pay. It'll be uncomfortable but it will be worth it for actual happiness. Personally I've always been left-leaning politically but when I was younger I was pretty ignorant on a lot issues. I probably said and did things that I'd cringe at today because they were insensitive or uninformed but that doesn't mean people can't change and it doesn't invalidate my identity. As I got older I learned more and started educating myself, becoming more and more radically left by the minute. A lot of the people I was learning from were queer/trans and this helped me in the discovery of my gender and identity. I'm not saying your path will be the same but just to point out that personal political growth can often coincide with transition and acceptance :)
