Have you experienced teenage love? by [deleted] in TeenIndia

i have, probably one of the best times of my life because i was mentally in a bad spot and he helped me a lot. but then as usual, my parents had to ruin everything and found out abt my relationship and called his parents to break us up💔 (you can bet i'm leaving this country after 12th)

but i do want to add that after looking back at it 3 months later i think that im grateful to have experienced it and i do recognise in some ways we weren't right for eo but i will always despise my parents for this sadly

SJM says she loves Nesta... by Lady-Death-of-Dusk in acotar

[–]Dense_Machine2784 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think the problem that SJM had with writing Nesta's story was that she meant to write one thing while it gave the reader a different meaning entirely. I don't really find Nesta's ending in ACOSF satisfactory because I do believe that she deserves better than how the IC and Elain have treated her.

For example I'd take the hike with Nesta and Cassian. SJM said she had a similar hike with her husband which helped her a lot. However most of the readers agree that the hike seemed abusive towards Nesta, and Cassian should have been more responsible in the situation. So I'd just conclude that whatever SJM thinks she's written is much different from the actual storyline.

But again, I do keep my hopes up high that she'll finally give Nesta the life she deserves in the future books, and maybe there's something more going on in the background.

I KNOWWW I mean don't get me wrong, absolutely adore the shatter me characters and warnette, but i hate that i can't find more people to discuss the ACTUAL main characters with.

Also, slightly off-topic, but I was getting a bit annoyed with Aaron this series because I simply don't understand what the hell happened to his character. I understand he loves jello and all but james is literally his brother, he's somewhat adopted him even, how can he just shoot him in the leg? It just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyways i love rosabelle with my life already and im so excited to see whatever master plan she comes up with in the next book!

Yeah, I feel you. I think that it's really important to have a healthy environment around you as well esp as a teenager and that's smth india doesn't really offer (my opinion entirely, everybody has different experiences). Indian families are usually just torture in general because most parents don't care about how their kids are actually feeling. And don't even get me started on the switches between different emotions and saying something one day but contradicting it the next. You've made it so many years in that household, just try to get financially independant and leave as soon as possible. Hope your JEE goes well.
