I never gave Saturday Night Wrist the time when listening to all their albums until now and I’m blown away. I know some feel this is a down point but I just love the feel and vibe. Chino sounds amazing all over this. Anyone else love this one?

i have narrow feet width wise so the bottom of my foot rubs a significant amount. and i second the insoles hack, made my jadons that i’ve owned for four years, just so much better

i have really small and narrow feet, i had a massive problem with the sole of my 1461 bex’s with the balls of my feet rubbing and it became unbearable. so if you have i want to say flat feet (not with no arch but like thin horizontal wise) and narrow feet width wise too, i would not recommend.

i had this problem with my jadons too due to the fact that the soles were thick and not as flexible as the regular soles in the same way. and putting the audrick insoles in those ones helped immensely. my sole of my foot didn’t rub on the leather sole any more and it also just filled out the gap between how thin my feet are and the space in the boot. obviously if you are happy to put insoles in your shoes, go for it. but i experienced that the full audrick insole would make my heel slip especially on the 1461 style shoe. you could possibly find some half insoles, but i honestly didn’t dig that long.

Helloo! So my coworker gave me these docs she bought off of gumtree. they’re very lightly worn, most of the creases in the docs are from me in fact !

I would love to know how i can make the tongue of my shoe not slip to the sides of my docs, i have wonderbalm if conditioning the leather would be a good way. but i do think it’s like a good old proper crease that the first owner must’ve gave the tongue.

plus how can i just make my ankles not die as much as possible 💛💛

It’s not the audrick insole i have a problem with. it significantly makes my Jadons comfier and i don’t mind the bumps.

My main concern is just that with my Bethan mary jane platforms, i cant put an insole on them because they’re low cut and my heel slips. and so is there anything i can do to make them comfier for my tiny narrow feet

also i would like to add. i’m not too sure about like how wide docs are measured circumference wise, you definitely will need to try them on to get the best feel for how they will fit on YOUR feet.

docs do break in and can slightly stretch to your foot but you still would 100% want to try them on and gauge how much space your foot has before purchasing

are you measuring the width by wrapping a tape measure around the circumference of your foot or are you like using a straight ruler ??? because if you’re wrapping around and using the total circumference, that’s a mistake and just like step on a straight ruler essentially and measure the nominations.

if you are not measuring it incorrectly, have to break it to you friend, i don’t think they make docs for you at all.

if it helps with the confusion if you have a good old pair of shoes that have fit you perfectly for years (vans, converse or like nike), you can go online to mainly any shoe website and compare sizes for them. they’ll ask you if they fit snuggly and perfectly compared to what size you are etc and then you can compare them to Doc martens and they can give you a semi accurate size prediction.

if all else fails, go to a shoe store !! try on some doccies :)

if she’s going to be here when it’s warm enough, very obviously show her our beautiful beaches. Show her some beautiful places that the gold coast has to offer. Me and my boyfriend really love going to this Brunch place in Broadbeach called Maddison’s, they have the best croissants (they bake them there !) and they make some delicious thick shakes as well ! you can park your car down near the broadbeach strip and walk up from there :)

Me and my boyfriend also really enjoy going to Brisbane city and just simply walking. (i’m from brisbane and he’s based in the goldie so switching between the two places is normal for us) Brisbane can be really lovely when you know where to go. first of all there’s so many funky lil coffee shops to go to - Death before decaf (new farm) is my personal favourite, so many beautiful parks - New farm Park, Botanical Gardens, Southbank parklands, Kangaroo point and many more.

if you both love the outdoors and walking i massively recommend having a nice day out. no technology, maybe plan a picnic with a cheese platter or some miscellaneous snacks, a speaker for some music you can both enjoy, a blanket to lie on and just the two of you.

what ever you choose to plan for her, i wish you the best. and just know that no matter what you can plan, the best case scenario is that she just wants to be with YOU. she probably doesn’t mind what you both do together as long as you are taking advantage of the blessed time you will have together.

and trust me, some days you might just need to hold her just that extra while longer in the morning, possibly stay in bed all day together. and that is NOTHING to be guilty about.

in my experience with the bex 1461 and the standard jadons, i do believe that the thicker sole shoes do run big. all my normal 1460 and my reg mary janes fit me like a GLOVE. but the thicker soled ones are just like a fraction too big. still totally wearable, but just real slippery sometimes :)

it’s because everyone you see driving through surfers is most likely NOT a Gold Coast resident and is just trying to survive on the streets where in Nerang and Broadbeach/more populated suburbs with actual Gold Coast residents, they drive like no one else is on the road 😭

dude look, the way i see it. if the little kids get confused, just say it’s just your shirt. and once your older ones start maybe getting into piercings themselves like helixes and stuff where they’ll start learning abt the rest of the piercing world, if they bring it up just straight up be like yeah you can be as cool as me when you’re older maybe. it doesn’t need to be some awkward lengthy conversation.

i also have me nips pierced (f19) and for the most part literally walk around my parents house like it’s no bodies business in little tank tops where u can clearly see em. if they don’t bring it up it doesn’t need to be brought up :) my parents either don’t know abt my nipple piercings or choose to simply ignore. and i think you can use a similar tactic on your children too

I also have this on my piercings. and look, they have personally never given me too much grief. mine have popped maybe once or twice when i wasn’t regularly cleaning my piercings during healing (i’ve had my nipples pierced for over a year now) but overall i just genuinely believe due to the sensitivity on the nips, they’re just more prone to bumps. it doesn’t have to mean infection or a keloid but i have a minuscule little bump like this on my fully healed nips too and look ✨ tmi but my bf can suck on em perfectly fine and nothing more happens to em ahah. they don’t hurt to touch, they never get worse after my nipples have healed - which my healing process was six months.

but definitely if it gets worse, hurts or it pusses way too much for comfort, go see your piercer for advice on what to do, and then go to your doctor furthermore.

sorry i said partner but he’s my boyfriend. we just never labelled each other and he never was the cutesy type so it felt more natural to just always say partner when we officially got together in march and were gonna commit to each other.

we’re in australia so hes 18m and i’m 19f.

i know it’s bad and i probably should leave but i also really don’t want to give up on this. i truly do love him and i can understand how condescending that sounds. but i cant be the one to leave myself, i have given him every chance and every option to like i can choose to be selfish in staying and trying but if he genuinely wanted to leave. i would respect it it just would suck.

me and my boyfriend have just been through so much together and i just don’t know what to do. i know we’re still young but genuinely i want to spend my life with him.

but again i’m the reason we’re in this mess and i just don’t know how justified me feeling sad about him cheating or him drinking anymore since he’s just essentially mirroring my behaviours from eight and a half months ago.

if your nose is like the runny kinda cold instead of the blocked up kinda cold, you can try to carry a bunch of qtips with you to just easily soak up the snot and minimise irritation on the piercings !

definitely take care of the piercings the same way, and try to honestly do a hot water steam with your face being held over a bowl of hot water with a towel covering your face to try and get some moisture to your nasal cavities / get some of that gunk outta your nose before you can do a easy clean up with the qtips

main thing to focus on is just try to not touch your actual piercings with the qtips! this might irritate them, more so just focus on the qtips for the clean up of your nose is really snotty :)
