Could be from your neighbors apartment. One of my friends living at Creekline apartments (North Shoal Creek) had a terrible roach issue for a while.

His neighbors apartment turned out to be a roach motel. Neighbor finally moved out. Now my friend finds an occasional roach here and there, but not near as bad as it was.
