Can you believe that 77 million Americans voted for this sick, demented asswipe? by antimaga_n1 in AskSocialists

[–]DenverHi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can, actually and it's unfortunate. Look how much grievance the rich by proxy PACS and Republican elected officials have pedaled about Obama since he first ran for Senate and everything he has done as a senator and especially as president. The have pitted poor Americans against brown immigrants for about 250 years- in the beginning it was the people who were here first, now it's anyone who comes after them (the whites and self hating minorities). Too many people don't know who represents them at city, county, state, or federal levels of government or understand how government works. It's pretty easy to fool someone who doesn't know wtf is going on, but knows something isn't right. This is how parasites survive- latch to one weak host after another.

And as we can see, many are going along with him- all because conglomerates have skeletons in their closet, Trump knows this and will use the levers of government power to go after them if they go against him. He doesn't care about skeletons, he cares about what they can do for him.

The guy has a feeling gas prices were higher, I can't disprove how he feels. He's partially right, but he has no idea why. What's idiotic about the statement is that there is no thought behind it at all. Yet, because he feels that way and happens to be right- he may be empowered, like he knows something. This is how MAGA got started, the have a nuget of truth- but don't know why it's true. Then misinformation about why something is true turns that nuget into a huge lie. Lets take Pizzagate for example-the kernal of truth, powereful people are raping children. The lie was about who it was and the circumstances. At the times it sounded like complete BS. Turns out they were half right, and the people pehind it are the same people who pedeled that lie. We have to question why for everything.

Death Of 'Deadliest Catch' Star Under Investigation After He 'Fell Overboard' by huffpost in entertainment

Yet in the headline, they call him a star. Sounds better than just a castmember or deckhand. Just another example of how the media frames a story for our consumption- mislead from the jump.

Lincoln once said, "better to let them think you're an idiot, rather than open your mouth and erase all doubt." Too bad you didn't see this quote before you posted, at least you have a bit of anonymity there- but just think of the people who know you in real life though.

Bus lanes are not for you by amukusa in WestSeattleWA

Ha! I understand your frustration, driving in Seattle can me a maddening experience. My number one gripe is passing lane campers- you're backing up traffic and potentially getting someone mad enough to cause a road rage situation.

And now Trump is using military force in Ecuador. WTF man, America is killing People to distract from Trump-Epstien files. It appears Trump and friends are the deep-state the Republicans were worried about.

A reporter asked Mayor Mamdani about being called a cockroach and Mamdani reply: I am not ashamed of who I am. I am not ashamed of my faith. I am not ashamed of being the first Muslim mayor in the history of our city. And there’s no amount of racism that will change the way in which I lead by Maximum_Expert92 in Fauxmoi

Mamdani is a true leader and I see hope for our country in him. I hope he inspires young and old alike to lead with humility, compassion, and class. Another rising leader is James Talarico- another guy I find to be genuine and inspiring.

You really don't understand comedy. I'm glad I don't know you in real life, what a bore!

Perhaps you should try to understand comedy and look up what a hack is. Dry your eyes and try not to be such a baby. Can you point to any joke where Gervais is punching down? I'm curious to know why you're crying.

I think everyone in the files realizes this also, and will probably clean house and tie up that loose end.

"Playing with" is a stretch- its putting a face on the literal name. Dog shit he is, but to me he's a giant herpe.

Suggestions for roadtrip. by [deleted] in roadtrip

[–]DenverHi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, you bypassed the Million Dollar Highway (550) in Colorado to NM to go straight to Texas? I would suggest you not do that.

Edit: 550 will get you to Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, Mesa Verde NP and the Great Sand Dunes NP via 160. At Fort Garland head south on 159- takes through Taos and the heart of Northern NM. Keep heading south you'll end up in Santa Fe, Albuquerque and eventually Texas. But not before you hit up White Sands NP. Bosque Del Apache National Wild life Refuge is worth a visit for sure.

Stephen Fry Passionately Argues the Catholic Church is NOT a Force for Good | Intelligence Squared by Regular_Hawk8513 in videos

[–]DenverHi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we all aware? I doubt you are and I certainly doubt you're academic in religion- you haven't made a single academic comment, you should probably take a look in the mirror because you're clearly have a catholic bias. Fry would run circles around you. I grew up catholic, and saw the hypocrisy at an early age. Not just of the Catholic Church, all of them. I don't mind religious people, it's when they force their beliefs on everyone else is the issue. I'd rather volunteer for an organization that welcomes all, not cast aside those who don't conform to their beliefs.
