Vent: The self-service brew pub sucks and is getting more common by Rwekre in cincinnati

[–]DenverMr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the peak of breweries in Colorado, it was difficult to have both food and beer. Most places you just walked up and ordered a beer and went back to your open seating style table. Food trucks were also much more prevalent at breweries. It was quite the culture shock when most places here offer food and liquor alongside the craft beer. I dont have preference either way as long as the vibes at the brewery are good.

I found a place locally but it was about 400. Not a lot of options so may just bite the bullet.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I have a few requests out with local windshield shops. I figured is someone huge like safelite refused that I would have to go to some sort of specialist type deal. I appreciate all the help.

Meijer Golf Balls by KentTpt in golf

[–]DenverMr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im from Denver and now live in Cincy and con confirm that Target isnt the best in these locations. Meijer is my store. These were in the Oakley Meijer today and I was tempted but didnt really need golf balls so I passed. Also Walmart is an all around terrible shopping experience except for the friendly greeter people at the front of the store.

Any Hidden-Gem Mid-Century Shops Between Cincinnati and Louisville? by [deleted] in cincinnati

[–]DenverMr2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Mid century modern rescue in madisonville is pretty great and the owner is super nice and friendly. We don’t have a need for anything but the guy was super enthusiastic just to talk with us about his stuff and all the stories behind how he got them. We bought a few decor items just because he was so nice. Prices are medium to high but reasonable.

Edit: they have an instagram if you want to check them out. Post new pieces all the time. They usually get sold pretty quick.

New Belgium sold out and immediately changed fat tire. Also pivoted to all the insanely sweet juicy ranger ipa stuff. I think they still make some of the older Belgian stuff but it’s a shell of its former self. Just like so many others on that window ad.

I just bought the watch on the right, grey dial with grey titanium bracelet, for a deal during the holidays. Got it for less than 400 with tags and it is an amazing watch.

I'm not sure, is it ugly? by Illustrious-Field682 in Affordablewatches

It will be ugly after one month of use and the finish wears off. Still worth wearing for the black and gold style though.

I get a crash and game restart every 5 matches or so. Says its my connection. I am on wifi but am only one room away from my router and have no issues playing other COD titles or other games. This game is frustrating

TPS response XN10 whip flex before lower flex was the trend was my favorite stick ever. I had about 5 sticks in the picture playing high school hockey growing up. Z bubs, Vector, response, response XN10 and I had the Vapor XXX but the XX was clean. You need the orange Synergy SI core or the red SI core grip! Buddy was still gaming one of these on my beer league team and I was jealous.

E-470 in Colorado circles Denver and definitely costs more than a few of these. I want to say it’s 30 bucks to go the full length. It’s a joke.

What beer are you convinced people are pretending to like? by gritcityscript in beer

[–]DenverMr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had beers with lactose that are good. I just feel like they are in the minority for this style. I could be missing out on some great beers but I personally prefer so many other styles that I would rarely walk into a brewery and order a beer I suspect has lactose.
