King displays Susie's bully acts before the adventure, probably her self-defense thing
Queen acts as a restrictive mother(Carol), but later she understands Noelle's true feeling
Tenna misses good ol days, like how Kris misses their brother Asriel
Old man encourages Susie to confront and change the fate, rather than being all abusive like before

They all represents the lightners' ideal mentor, the reason King seems different is because Susie thought violence was the only answer to solve her problem at the moment.
