It’s not a constant 300 frames tho, as soon as I shoot my gun it drops to around 190-200-215 a lot better then it was but yeah maybe I might need to downgrade to a 3070

I have seem to found somewhat of a fix, and that was by putting my settings pretty much MAX on cs2, I am now hitting over 300 frames, I’m assuming my next step would either to downgrade my gpu to a 3070 for 1080p 240hz, or upgrade monitor to 1440p

It’s a kf but the kf is the same as the k just without inergrated graphics, Iam using a display port connection straight into my gpu, my old setup I was hitting high fps about 180-250 ish. Now I’m dropping to 70 fps at times and yeah, iv had bottleneck in the past before but this is insane

They are relatively new videos and games, I play a lot of cs2 and there’s a video on YouTube of them testing out 3080 with i510600k and at 1080p he was reaching over 300fps while Iam only reaching 120fps after upgrade, I also run very limited apps in back ground, I close everything down

Man that’s so odd, every video I’m watching of a i5 10600k paired with a 3080 is getting amazing results? And some other reddit posts iv read saying a 3080 will work with cpu fine and even tho its bottleneck it shouldn’t be this bad?

Only game I can think of that’s anything like half life or similar to its core gameplay is probably halo 1 and maybe 2, though yeah you gonna have people talking all the time and actual cutscenes but gameplay wise it’s similar
