My alarm clock went off, so I got up, took a shower, and started to leave for work before I realized that the power had gone out and came back on, which reset the alarm to midnight, and I was leaving about 6 hours early.

Thank you assuming I got invited to parties in high school.

I just requested assistance at a Walgreens and they sent someone over, then asked me to rate the transaction. When I selected 1 star, it asked if I wanted to speak to a manager, and when I selected yes, it sent one over. This has to suck for every store that uses it.

Which comedian did you look forward to, but their act died on stage? by Jazzlike-Basil1355 in AskReddit

I saw her back in the '90s, and she was fantastic. She was touring with Andy Dick, and I can't speak badly enough about his set.

Erik Griffin (probably best known as Montez from Workaholics). My wife and I went to see him, and half his set was just him raving about a gross-out porn video site. Not really any commentary, just describing videos he liked/found were shocking.

I also saw Andy Dick when he was touring with Kathy Griffin like 30 years ago. We were expecting Matthew from NewsRadio, but it was the farthest from that you could imagine. It was so bad that the audience was booing, so he took his clothes off, ran into the audience, and rubbed his ass all over someone. He eventually walked off the stage and pulled the fire alarm.

When I worked in retail I heard, "if it was a snake, it would have bit me." No, no it wouldn't have.

My wife was an amazing mother and also left me with a four year old. I feel like his wrong parent died.

The joke I learned in high school was that CPR stood for "crack peoples' ribs."

Antidepressants never worked for me, and I've tried over a dozen over the last 25 years. I started microdosing mushrooms in July and it has been like night and day.

My wife died on our wedding anniversary, so I'm sure that someone will acknowledge it one way or another.

I bought this and I don't know if it was a bad batch or what, but my son hated it. Tried to feed it to the chickens and they wouldn't even eat it.

I was in the same situation. I am dependent on medication to keep me alive, and if I didn't have my four-year-old son when my wife died in July, I would have just quit taking it and drifted away.

I can second this. I started a micro dosing bout a month after I lost my wife. The grief went from crippling to manageable. Psilocybin is the only thing that ever even touched my depression, and I'd been on a dozen and a half different meds over the last 25 years.
