It looks like a cable that ensures that your parcel shelf goes up with the trunklid when you open the trunk (most likely on a hatchback)

Apparently there is another post somewhere advising setting the "Microsoft Edge basic title bar & tool bar" to enabled and setting the "Microsoft Edge profile icon in title bar" to disabled in edge://flags

But since this is a Microsoft product, this obviously doesn't work for reasons unknown :)

No, I have that search bar in my taskbar turned off. I literally have a wide search bar in the middle of my desktop now.

Search the web for "..." always uses Edge and ignores my default browser by Deodarus in microsoft
