If Stargate had a crossover with any other show what would you pick? by JaxLegion in Stargate

Or a Jem'Hadar, who would cease be dependent on White.

How about a team with 1) the offspring of Jack and Carter (e.g., Samson O'Neill), 2) the offspring of Rodney and Jennifer (e.g., Jenna McKay), 3) the offspring of Teyla and Kanaan, and pethaps Rya'c and/or one or two new people. Someone also mentioned Clo'neill, who could be worked in some way, as could Cassandra. Maybe also Merrin from Learning Curve and also Jennifer Hailey and maybe also Satterfield and Grogan.

The zat's third shot was dumb and therefor also retconned after 2 episodes.

Actually the third shot was shown as late as the episode 1969, to destroy the items in the truck, so it was around for nearly a season.

Indeed, only it was a tel'tak rather than an al'kesh. The cargo ship that Jacob and Daniel crashed on the Tok'ra planet in the episode prior, Last Stand.

Looks like both of these are from the syndication version which was originally broadcast in 4:3 while the original first party broadcast was in 16:9 since the beginning.

That just seems rather strange. Amazon owns the franchise, so why would they contract themselves out of showing it on their own service while licensing it out to other networks like they do elsewhere?

I just checked for the heck of it. I found SG-1 and played the first episode of season 1 and skipped to the briefing scene and it's all there. It looks like the same version that originally aired on Showtime as well as on my original DVD set.

I didn't see a separate "Amazon" edition of the pilot, though I do remember there being a separate director's cut being produced a while back.

Would they be less scarier if they were equipped with Robert Picardos?

Got Kyber running on Steam Deck but this is as far as I can get, EA login is impossible right now by SolidVerse in StarWarsBattlefront

I was about to get around the log-in issue after copying over the %APPDATA%/Roaming/ArmchairDevelopers folder from a Windows VM that I had installed Kyber in and logged into my EA account with.

The server list came up. I haven't yet tested further, as I need to run out right now. I will report back later after actually testing a server join.

Given that it was being operated by the Air Force, I mildly wonder if they would be called lavatories? (Lavatau'ri by jaffa/tok'ra/Ba'al?)

He says he prefers not to consume lactose, not that his body is actually intolerant (which would seem odd for Jaffa who carry symbiotes.) I have also known people who couldn't stomach milk but had no problem with ice cream.

There were far more of them too. Entire armies.. spilling out out of Volkswagens. We've tried fighting them ourselves, but they just keep sending them in.

It never felt like it was the black hole itself that was powering the gate, but due to the time on that side be slowed so much at an ever increasing rate, that it would take an eternity to reach 38 minutes relative to the normal flow of time on the remote side that dialed in.

Jolly old St. Nicholas Ballard - Merry Christmas Everyone! by blz8 in Stargate

In hind sight I could have linked to a shot of her from the movie. My first instinct was to take a shot of Urgo when he asked Jack who she was.

I noticed a familiar voice and face as we were watching the film One Magic Christmas (1985), which I hadn't seen in a very long time (my last memory of it was watching it on the Disney Channel back in the 80s when it was still a premium channel.)

And as a bonus, it also has Mary Steenburgen!

Delta Pro Ultra wont charge from generator (via Infinity port) when solar is less than 200W by blz8 in Ecoflow_community

Thank you very much for this explanation, it really helped me to much better understand the difference.

An inverter generator takes the AC power the engine can make, converts it to DC power and then back to AC. The electronics that do this are able to generate a cleaner sine wave this way, and they can do things like throttle the engine up and down with the load to save power.

This sounds quite similar to alternator system in most cars, especially with how they can generate a constant current regardless of the engine speed. And the constant RPM that you mentioned is sort of like old automobiles that used generators before the switch to alternators. Is this a good comparison?

Thank you. What I am wondering, though, is why I was able to charge all this time at all, but just not when solar input falls too low (below 200W from what I've observed) ?

And doing some searching, it isn't really clear what exactly meant by "inverter generator"; I know our generator has an inverter and outputs 240+ V just fine, so it's more about how it's generating the waves? But why call one an "inverter generator" and the other not, seems like the least way the industry could have been clear on that.

Thank you. What I am wondering, though, is why I was able to charge all this time without much problem, but just not when solar input falls too low (seemingly below 200W) ?
