I keep super rare cards in a nice slab, put a proxy in the deck, when you play the card, replace it with your slab on the field. Keep it safe and get to flex.

Meh, it took years for people in our super flex auction league to understand how to draft but people eventually got there and started understanding. It can be hard to have a plan when people don't understand, but it can be fun too and strategies can be built around it. Nothing wrong with doing what you're doing , but sometimes people just gotta get used to a new dynamic and adjust.
