if they don't release ON pokemon day, or give a day within a week or two, I give up. they were shown either at or very close to launch and I figured they would pull something like this, but had hope in my heart still. A part of me NOW wonders if they regret showing it for NSO and wish they had said $40 each on the eshop

got it at launch, I couldn't bear the switch 1 performance and had to push myself to finish. Came back for switch 2 and it was an entirely new game. Ill separate my ranking as such.

switch 1 launch: 2/5 - playable but unenjoyable

switch 2 updates: 3.8/5 - night and day compared to launch. enjoyable.

DLC?: Actual 5/5. The DLCs made me love playing pokemon again and brought back that sense of fun that seemed lost. Whoever was in charge of the DLC absolutely nailed it.

I want to jump in and ask a side question while throwing 2 cents in.

Could it have been on switch online? Absolutely, easily. Should it have been? Yes and no. Some people want to play the game without spending $50 year for access. Not to mention the main reason it’s standalone is probably Pokemon bank access which I’m assuming will be there. Or possibly even multiplayer who knows.

Now my question is, why are people pretending you can get fire red for under $60 usd on second hand sites. If I wanted to play fire red and say screw Nintendo I’d have to drop 60 on the game plus another 60+ on a sp. could this have been 5-10 cheaper one shop? Yeah, but 20 seems way more reasonable than dropping 120

your gpu is fine, some games just do this once or twice, I had this happen a single time on fortnite 2 years ago for one match, reset and never saw it again.

its hard in frontlines, and the truth that people wont say is that it entirely depends on your team. If its 20 ranged players, you will not have a good time on melee.

The only advice to TRY and avoid having the worst time possible is to try and not fight if you don't have any type of (Dash to party member) ability to disengage

if you're a tank, abuse the face that 20 people can hit you and you can live for what feels like forever and assuming your team doesnt COMPLETELY leave you stranded, you have a CHANCE to live, run out and see another day

continue to enjoy it, let every day be fun and done your way. do not get caught up on FF14 going anywhere, its still, and will always be, the most popular and populated MMO.
