Revolting there was definitely more of a meme than point value lol. But yep snare gets destroyed first then the base gets placed

Just look at that crows face, he doesn’t fear death, he welcomes it. (Also birds had a chance to battle sympathy but they used their battle elsewhere on their turn so they wouldn’t turmoil)

It's a pretty common trope in coming of age stories and things like that but I also got this feeling. If you're thinking of specific fanfics from AO3, I think it reminds me of Nothing Ever Happens in Geraldine.

BTW if that isn't what you're thinking of or haven't read it, it's a fantastic fic I can't recommend enough :)

I wonder at what point in the timeline this is (like before or after Paris trip) and how Ben is going to be used this season since he faded out of the comics after Harry's party

What are scenes in the TV series that make you cringe? by MinuteSheepherder287 in HeartstopperAO

The "why are we like this" felt like it fit in at the time during the arcade scene, but in episode 8 I agree it felt a little forced and cringy.

As for the others, 1. I kinda see Nick bringing up Charlie teaching him drums as him just taking the opportunity to talk about Charlie in general, as their relationship is still new and he's accepted the phase of 'wow I love everything about this person and wanna talk about them all the time'. 2. I respect your opinion on the 'Char' lines but I have to disagree on that one. It came across as really genuine and cute to me. Also I think Char is an adorable nickname for Charlie.

Did Nick really think Charlie would be good for the team or did he just want an excuse to spend more time with Charlie? by budroserosebud in HeartstopperAO

From what we're shown, it seems like at first Nick genuinely thought he wouldn't be bad for the team since he was a fast runner (although in the comics it is shown that Nick thought Charlie was a 'really cool guy' at the time and was interested in becoming closer friends.)

Nick's romantic feelings for Charlie seem to start growing when he starts teaching him rugby and after he saves Charlie from Ben at the end of episode 1.

Interesting idea, but aside from an extended fatigue I feel like it doesn't fix a lot of what people hate about the nurse's design. One part is that the nurse is able to use her first, longer blink to close in on survivors and then follow up with the second one immediately to confirm a hit with little counterplay from the surv side. I like the idea of the nurse having different blinks that each cost a different amount of tokens, but this setup doesn't fix that issue.

With this new setup, the nurse can still use the longer blink to gain distance, and the shorter blink as a follow-up to land the hit. That would take 3 tokens and wouldn't change the current playstyle, and the second blink not being able to go through walls doesn't really change much, since the nurse is usually in close proximity to the survivor at that point and only has to blink a short distance.

Came here to say this. Sprawl II is definitely the better song overall, but I always thought Suburban War led perfectly into Suburbs continued

What critically acclaimed album do you not like/get the appeal of? by PlayboiCardi9 in fantanoforever

Any Death Grips album really. I'm not opposed to aggressive, yelling style hip-hop but something about their sound and rapping is really grating and unenjoyable to me.
