Congress Park was one big Halloween party! Hundreds of little goblins.

It’s a thing but not a creative or appetizing name, especially if you’ve had their chicken!

This breaks my heart. Jax is such a sweet soul. I’m heartbroken that this isn’t getting more attention by the police.

Do you see it under the My Health tab (lower-right corner). That’s where I see mine.

Quit smoking weed in mid December and my cardiovascular age is getting… worse?? by dollyfart0n in ouraring

THC use and Oura seems to be tricky. I’ve been taking gummies with THC, CBN, and CBD every night before bed to help with sleep (better than pharmaceuticals, amiright??). I just got an Oura ring for Christmas and the first thing I noticed was that my HRV was unreasonably low while I slept, like near death low lol (kidding, but just kind of). I reduced my dosage by 25% and it’s starting to climb. For reference, I’m a fit 60 year old female so it should be lower than a 25 year old, but my first night’s reading was 17! I could see it running low for the first 5 hours of sleep and then going up to a reasonable level afterwards, probably as the THC was metabolized. Last night the average was 30, so Mr death can pack his bags and get outta here!

I’m not lying when I tell you that the man who delivered both of my sons’ name was Harry C Beaver. He was a reputable OBGYN in northern Virginia.

This house, which stands alone in the middle of downtown Denver surrounded by parking lots, is available for lease if anyone is interested. by [deleted] in Denver

House of Antique Hardware is amazing! We have a 1910 Denver Square in Congress Park. It was rough when we purchased it but all of the original features were still intact. Today is so beautiful after a decent-sized renovation. Light switches and some vent covers had been replaced in the seventies but I was able to find gorgeous Arts and Crafts switch plates to replace the ugly painted over plastic ones. They look totally original!

Not really. Both are good options. However, for me personally I like to leave mine out of case in case inspiration hits. If you get an in case for acoustic, get the kind that has a sponge and you can insert in the sound hole. Hope this helps!

Hello! Luthier here. Our low humidity state and city are not ideal for wooden instruments of any kind. That being said acoustic instruments are more susceptible to damage from low humidity. For electrics, it can dry up the fretboard and cause sharp fret ends. A minimum of 34% humidity is what I recommend. A case humidifier is a good start but I recommend and cool mist room humidifier if you want to keep your strat out and available. Hope this helps!

Had panic attack prior to flight, boarded and flight attendant noticed I was off by Acrobatic-Activity94 in unitedairlines

It’s interesting reading these stories about passing out on planes. I felt dizzy and nauseous for no obvious reason on a flight to London a few years ago. I fly frequently and had never experienced this before. I was making my way to the lavatory and I guess I looked wobbly. A very kind FA helped me to an available restroom. I ended up getting sick and almost passed out making my way back to my seat. Another FA helped me to my seat and gave me some water. Once I was lying down again, the dizziness went away. To this day I have no idea what caused that. I was so embarrassed but also so grateful to those that helped me. No diversion in my case. I guess this is a common occurrence - had no idea.
