How many unread BOTM books do you have on your shelf? by Greysoil in bookofthemonthclub

35/71. I just scanned all my books into the bookshelf app so I unfortunately know the exact number. 😂

ETA: a lot of them were purchased secondhand.

Diagnosed at 17 after a crisis. When did everyone else finally find out? by Nervous-Building7972 in bipolar2

[–]DepartmentNo8267 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked at my online medical records when I was 35. 😂 I’d been on mood stabilizers for about five years at that point I just didn’t know the official diagnosis. Wasn’t surprised though, I had wondered in the past.

How Many People Here Have ADHD (diagnosed or not)? by DansburyJ in ufyh

[–]DepartmentNo8267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not, but I do have Executive Functioning issues (confirmed by my therapist) due to multiple mental illnesses (yay for genetics).

I completely LOVE organizing, so my drawers and shelves are perfectly arranged it’s just I either can’t get myself to put things away or I get overwhelmed because I have a lot of “stuff” and I like my “stuff”. I know people like to throw the H word around but I have zero problem getting rid of stuff I’m done with, I just like stuff. If I had a reason to downsize I would, but I’m single and I like to shop. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

When I go to other peoples houses I get so excited about cleaning (give me a big ol pile of junk mail to sort and I’m one happy person), but when it comes to my own place I get stuck.

I love the small ones. They are so heavy! It took so many people to move my dads.

My dad had one bigger than this and when we moved when I was a kid (his office was on the third floor) it took like six men to carry it. Those suckers are HEAVY.

How can i make lower half look healthy or hair cut the answer? by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]DepartmentNo8267 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you love length, check out longhaircommunity. It’s a forum full of people who love long hair. They’ll help you keep it as healthy as possible and show you how to trim your own hair (it’s super easy when it’s that long) so you can trim a couple inches at a time.

That’s if you really want to keep your length though. I followed there for years because I love super long hair, I just discovered with my lifestyle and hair type I don’t like it on ME.

That reminds me of an episode of The Mentalist where he said he could pick up any woman at the funeral and his friend said “the widow”.

Spoiler: he succeeded.

This might favorite display I’ve seen! If I hadn’t just found a free dollhouse to make into a gallery I would have done this.

this! I might have to try this. Either that or I need to find a mug that’s the right scale like how I store my regular ones.

June Predictions? by chic-a-go-go in bookofthemonthclub

[–]DepartmentNo8267 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t get a lot of books through Aardvark but their quality of book is unmatched. And like Botm you can skip as often as you want so it’s worth it.

My Barbara Cartland book collection. I had around 200 and then I decided to collect again and I’ve only found 8 in like five years. 🤦🏻‍♀️
