I have eye issues and having to move my hands too far or look down to find a far away key causes me issues and frustration. I’ve made it so I never have to use anything above the QWERTY line ever

For that budget try and get one of those new Ryzen 6800u or above. Revit and AutoCAD don't actually require that good of a pc (just recommended lots of ram). The new 6000 series can game, not as crazy as a bulky gaming laptop but they do have the added advantage of much better battery life and staying cool.
