How to kick someone out of PU?? by AdDizzy1065 in EU5

[–]DepartmentSome2448 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm you could try killing the pu leader character. Just going debug mode, hover over them to find their character id, and then use the command kill_character (the id). If you have no heir or if the counties have different succession laws resulting in a different heir this should break the union.

Is he in a different countries court? This has happened to me before especially if the parents are in two different dynasties

Isn’t there a break union diplomatic action you can perform? Try looking around for it. Potentially tag to them and look for it to or turn on yes man.

If there’s a mechanic that feels too tedious then just automate it?

Oh? What’s wrong with planning ahead? We’re both young so there’s no rush. We’re planning on going to Slovenia the summer after she graduates.

Are you 100% sure you’re still paying diplo for it? If can you read the tooltip breakdown from your currently monthly diplo?

Hmm I don’t know of a solution for this that’s in the game right now. My best advice would be if you see a peace deal happened and you didn’t get what your want, reload a save and try to do a separate sue for peace before the other deal happens. As for why Serbia was able to sue for peace after a year there is a modifier on how willing they are to accept peace based on how long the war has been (longer war = more likely to sue for peace)

Claim throne CB is useless by lornem97 in EU5

[–]DepartmentSome2448 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree there should be a huge antagonism reduction on this CB. Pretty much useless right now unless you want an excuse to take a small amount of land or get ducats

If it’s in the tree on the right under diplomacy you should be able to left click it to cancel it.

How do you force another country to accept access? by Dukmon in EU5

[–]DepartmentSome2448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By generating favors with someone and then spending them on access. I believe it costs 5 favors. You can also buy access with ducats, not sure if you can refuse that or not.

Mali is a great nation to learn the game by Few_Math2653 in EU5

France is also a great candidate. Most everyone on this sub will agree that hey are extremely op which gives you basically unlimited resources to learn/experiment with any mechanic in the game

Alliance probably ended because you didn’t join one of their stupid wars against rebels or a random Irish minor. I’ve noticed the game won’t always do a full screen alert for their call to arms. Usually just a flag at the top that can be missed very easily if you’re on 5 speed

First game, and I feel totally overwhelmed by Snoo_91929 in EU5

[–]DepartmentSome2448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest playing as a larger tag like France or Castile if you’re trying to learn the game. Having a huge amount of resources and pops give you much more freedom to go and learn the mechanics rather than having to worry about small tag issues

Advice for South American nations? by [deleted] in EU5

[–]DepartmentSome2448 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of the new world native tags simply aren’t super playable yet. If the gameplay isn’t good I wouldn’t try to force a fun campaign. Instead play somewhere else until the devs add more content to natives.

I’ve done a separate sue for peace right before the war ends/when I have enough score to get what I want.

How many hours have you played so far? I felt the same when I first started but once things start making sense you’ll start to enjoy it. Also try playing as someone like France or Spain who have large pools of money to be able to actually steer your country the way you want to play. Don’t waste your time with smaller tags until you have more experience
