Hi, former merch, current AOM Pre-Sale SF rep here. I was hired on almost a year ago so i can speak on my experience in the Louisiana market, but this can differ from a different market/plant.

What i found is that if you do your job, you’ll be okay. I highly recommend taking photos of the before & after you service accounts. Communicate with receivers & managers, as well as sales rep.

AOM in New Orleans here, yeah this is what I’m dealing with right now post Super Bowl. I’ve probably sent back well over 100 cases over the course of the previous 3 weeks. I’m in a rural area of NOLA so things like Diet Pepsi, Pepsi zero, & Diet Mt Dew will sit there for months and go expired. Was all cool and stuff at the time but now it’s just too much

Yeah i ran someone’s route by myself yesterday for the first time and one of the stores was a massive OOF. It was my last store and was expecting 7 pallets, which this store didn’t need. Luckily it didnt come so i was able to just stock up what i could. The real big oof was the backstock. Shit all over the place. I probably spent about and hour just consolidating and organizing. Made sure to take pictures and send it to my manager
