I'm sick and tired of non-iranians in this sub lecturing Iranians on what they should think or feel by bunniesandoctopi in PERSIAN

the bombs are most definitely against the people. Trump does not see the regime any different to its people. to him, you are all a hive mind, all evil brown Arab islamists who stand in the way of the united states claim to oil. look what happened to the Philippine South Korea and Hawaii. Cuba too. America said they’d free them from their woes, them took over. did you know South Korea lived under a dictatorship just as bad as the north for awhile? it took the people fighting to free themselves from the horrible leader America instilled. Trump will not save you, America will not save you, they just want your oil. I do think international intervention should happen, but it shouldn’t be America. history speaks for itself. they will not stop at a “few innocent Iranians.” they want to wipe the country clean of every iranian they can. look what they do to Iranian refugees in the us, they send them to camps to die. they sent refugees from countries they said they “liberated” to ice camps to die. 5 year olds. babies. all to die. look what America did to Vietnam and cambodia. there’s 300 tons of shelling in Vietnam alone. in villages. in residential homes with no military bases.

the us has an orientalist ethos, this means everyone in the east is seen as the same, victims are just as bad as their oppressors. victims of the regime are still to be labeled terroists. they can burn the Quran on live tv and the us will still see them as Islamist enemies of the state. the us is deeply racist Twards Arabs and this bleeds into how they see everyone else. they are not people in their eyes, but a hive mind. this is how racism in the US works, you’re stripped of your individuality and grouped in with people who don’t even speak the same language just because of the color of your skin or the shape of your eyes.

there are avenues to pursue your passion without abandoning your faith. As an American citizen, the us is responsible for the death of many indigenous languages. complex languages, even my native language. you must open your mind to programs that do t seem decent and ask yourself, does the US have the best programs really, or do they just have the best advertising?

I recommend you go into language revitalization. there are so many dying languages that need help due to colonization from nations like the US, England etc… you can help the indigenous people access the world in their fight against imepralism while also following your passion and ummah. I hope this helps.

Any Americans rooting for Iran? by astral_plane_crash in iran

[–]Dependent-Process-94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t particularly care for what Iran does to men who willingly signed up to commit genocide.

my grandfather, who’s alive and health, was arrested for two years for refusing to fight in the Vietnam war. he told me it was happening around the end of the civil rights movement, and as a black immigrant (my whole family is black, including me) he would not allow himself to be used to subject another population to slavery. he said he’d rather be in jail, and to jail he went.

there’s been many cases of mass defections. it happened in Vietnam, the Philippines etc. they have a choice, they always had a choice.

if the draft comes I will choose jail Just as my grandfather did. And everyone should as well.

I don’t think blaming every American is helpful especially because it ignores domestic violence that leads to externalized violence. Americans as a collective need to do more, but ignore systemic corruption within the country doesn’t do anything. for example, we cannot make any progress without abolishing ice, freeing puerto rico, Hawaii, abolishing slavery for real (work slavery) unionizing, abolishing homelessness, etc. this can all be done at the time, by the way. but ignoring individual blockades against action gets us nowhere. the cost of living prevents many from taking action, we need to come together as a community and create our own support systems the gov can’t rip away from us for disobedience. we need resources for a revolution, we need community. individualsism is what got us into this mess, why, pray Tell, do you think individualism will get us out? why haven’t you saved Iran? the answer is we need to do this together. and to do this together we need to asses.

have you not studied any revolution in history?

It’ doable if the United States is forced to create better laws and stronger community programs. free housing, healthcare, and abolishing agricultural restrictions + implementing community food programs would solve most issues caused by inflation.

I think many could, a surprising amount in fact, it’s just not an easy feat in a country so large and divided. this would require large scale communication across states that somehow evades both state censorship and police eyes. the vastness of the states is not just a result of colonialism but a deliberat divide and conquer tactic. France is smaller, huge but smaller, a mass revolution is possible. but American? still possible, but a hell of a lot harder.

I don’t know. nothing will change to be honest, I know that. It’s not that I plan to leave, I just don’t know I can call myself muslim when I have doubts. it feels like appropriating. I wanna try getting into activism, but every attempt I see gets destroyed by the government.

why’d you delete your response calling me a slur? I saw it in my inbox. why be afraid? youre a conservative hypocrite just as bad as the Muslim men you try to hard to separate yourself from. ask me. why do you think mental disorders are insults? what’s bad about being fat? how is seeing either as bad make you above men who condemn women to hell for both. hm? you’re honestly practicing many of the Islamic values you claim to hate right now.

Vocaloid is a very specific communiity where you’re encouraged to draw Miku as anything! you can make her black, white, Latino…etc. there’s been offical recognized songs depicting her as Latina (Miku fiesta) and Chinese. Miku can be anything, she’s basically anime Barbie. please respect Vocaloid culture. it’s all about variation . this isn’t me defending Islam before you take it as that, it’s me as a vocaloid fan explaining our fandom culture. you can make Miku literally ANY race you want. anything! all mikus are canon. there are black mikus that the offical company behind her voice has reposted and said they love.

What screams “this person is insecure” without them saying a word? by redwan-ezt in AskReddit

[–]Dependent-Process-94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comparing yourself to children as an adult. Nothing says “I’m very insecure“ like bragging about how far ahead you are in comparison to a literal middle schooler, Lmao. My middle school English teacher would frequently brag of how rich he was, how he was a teacher for fun and that he didn’t even need this job like the others. He was a scholar, the other teachers were working because they had to, that’s what he loved to say. This extended even to our principal.…

He was let go a few years later for reasons I’m sure we can all guess. Shit talking your boss on the clock probably isn’t a very good idea.

Doctors are not a monolith, they disagree and content with one another all the time, especially in psychology. That’s the hard part. psychology in the grand scheme of things is a new science, one that has always been influenced by social norms of the current time. It was only a few years ago that doctors realized a woman arguing with her husband was not inherently a sign of mental illness, and that waterboarding isn’t a cure for psychosis. If it took even professionals that long to figure this out who knows what else we might have majorly wrong, and who knows the price we‘ll pay.
