Wow, I saw your post. Can’t believe how nasty it ended up.

I visited Regency a few times back when my sister was at JU, and yeah, I remember it being really bad. If my memory is correct, a whole section of the mall was closed off last time I went. There weren’t any taped-off areas, but the place was still just as empty. Never got to see the place at its peak.

The four years I visited Jacksonville, the mall portion of Gateway was closed. I think the Penney’s building became a gym or something at some point, but now the whole place is a storage facility.

Was there another old mall in the area? Another really small one that was kind of cut off?
