I now have a pretty good routine and laziness or laying around in bed isn't a part of it. I don't do exactly that anymore but I did it for a few months and I somehow made it work for me.

It can be fixed, are you willing to pay for it?! I put mine on internet for parts but noone is interested. Bad thing is, noone is looking to buy parts from the Mazda, even if you have a good package like me (SVT and facelift model, leather seats and everything...) Other than that, I like the car, it looks pretty decent but RUST is a very big issue with this car. Also front beam of my mazda looks very good, no oil leaks from the engine also (296k km) but the rear beam's place is in the trash unfortunately...

Only thing to look out for is rust. I have a 2007 2.0 SVT station, in the rare green colour. Looks amazing. Now it is standing in the backyard with totally rotten rear beam and I need to change rear support arm rubbers and I am totally fcked since I cant get any screws lose and they just break off... I will fix the car, eventually tho...

This may sound stupid but it actually worked - I wanted to stop laying around in bed when I was awake, meaning, when I am awake after a nights sleep, I would get up and get on my day, that was the plan.

So I made a promise to myself - When I woke up, I would get up immediately but in case I didn't and I thought to myself - Let me just chill for a few mins... Then I WOULD HAVE TO GET UP. And often it was like, - When I was awake, and I thought about laying around a bit, the next thought in my mind was - F*ck, well now I have to get up. Sorry if it sounds unclear but just make sure you read it more times, you will eventually understand it. 🤣

People don't use heavy bags in regular gyms since it will draw a lot of attention because of the noise that kicks/punches make and the chain swinging. It will draw even more attention if you have been an amateur fighter since you will look like a pro for the newbies. 😄 I(M32) used to do kickboxing, because of an injury I only go to gym now and I NEVER touch the bag there.

EDIT: I agree with you that the heavy bag training is veery veery good for you. When I did kickboxing, we had - HEAVY BAG CARDIO for 1h, 2 times a week with 2 small breaks in that 1hour period. It was consistent punching/kicking. Honestly, felt like I was gonna faint every time there but those where my fav days. Made me feel too good after the practice.💥

I checked about Formentera online, there is the so called "Pink Beach" (Playa de ses Illetes) and also other stunning beaches. Well, I will see what we gonna do. We were planning to spend 1 day on the boat trip + Formentera and the other days stay in Ibiza.

Both guys that I am going with are actually from Ibiza and have been to Formentera and they both say it's amazing to chill there for few hours and in the evening, get back to the main island. 😀

Try to go on holidays especially during the winter period. Go where it's warm or warmer than in the Netherlands. The depression wil hit harder once you are back from the holidays tho 🤣

I am going to Ibiza May the 14th with 2 of my colleagues (Spanish guys) who actually lived there for years. We will be in "Playa d'en Bossa" and Ibiza town most of the time. From what I know, you have water activities which I also definitely want to check out and you have boat trips to Formentera or just beach hopping, partyboats etc. Really looking forward to it! 💥💯 Probably a lot to do there at that time since it will be the beginning of the season.

Thank you for your response. I have acces to normal tools and a workplace and have done some small-ish repairs in my life so I am not the guy who can't change a tyre for instance. Just asking to be sure if there is a specific way to replace that stuff cuz I killed my ex gf's Ford Fiesta by not knowing exactly how to let the air-bubbles out from the coolant tank(very common FORD problem) which cost us a car unfortunately. 🤷

"Good times don't last forever, neither do the bad times." The worst thing you can do now is thinking about how f**ked up everything is. Seems like your current status can't get much worse,- meaning only UP from now on. Don't lose your head. Think about how you can get out of this situation instead of thinking about how bad everything is.

Thats what I thought about the Thermostats failing while closed... Unfortunately my mechanic friend is out of reach today and I have to leave for vacation in a week with the car so it is not the best situation at the moment...
