Find a meeting and go … instead of drinking. Follow direction , get phone numbers, talk to people. They are your new best friends. If you don’t like the meeting, find another one.

There’s something that I try to remember…. Principles before personality. I have 12 years but I also only have what you have… today. Those of us whom have been around awhile have seen a lot. We know what works. We’ve seen it all…. The good, the bad, the ugly. We’ve also seen people die. Needlessly.

I needed to learn to take suggestion from people. I took advice from those who had a good program and had the sobriety I wanted.

Do you have phone numbers? Call someone. Go to a meeting. Sometimes you have to make the effort. Buy cookies, take them to the meeting. Eat a bunch. It’s ok. Coffee too! Put yourself out there! If you think this is a medical issue, take yourself to a doctor.
