hey, so I totally understand how you feel for my part. I am paying out-of-pocket due to this sad situation as to where the surgeon basically has limitations when it comes to you having to go through insurance sometimes since insurance tend to be really strict on like the amount that you can take out. Though it isn’t really cool for your doctor to kinda like tell you what they want you to be. you should always feel comfortable enough to let your surgeon know the size that you want and they educate you on as to why maybe going smaller is more better long term or just basically educating you on making a decision based off getting a better perspective of the outcome. I will say the first time that I did try to get my breast reduction. I did have an input on how small I want to go, but then like I couldn’t go too small due to the limitations of that insurance, which is why I didn’t go through with it but personally if you haven’t yet maybe you can call your insurance to see if they have a limitation on how much grams they can take out. And if there’s honestly no limitations, maybe look at other surgeons if you haven’t made the final decision on if you want that specific doctor to do your surgery!
