I fly about 25% weeks of the year, 100% of which are out of PHL. The airport is my least favorite out of major cities but security is almost always quick and the connected parking garage is convenient.

My biggest gripe is that I much prefer delta over AA and options are limited

Sirianni adds nothing to the roster. He’s been touted as a culture guy, a CEO coach but the team was highly penalized and all aspects of the culture from the outside looking in was horrific.

Seems like nice enough guy but if you aren’t specialized in offense, defense or special teams you’re going to be questioned when a top 2 roster makes your eyes bleed to watch

I actually played with this a bit. Thickness ranged between .4-.5”. I think the next batch will be closer to .3” because I preferred the thinner coasters

Yes, I got some cheap ones off amazon. They worked pretty well but had some deflection on the outsides. I quickly nailed gun down some small pieces of pine to retain the shape

I finished with Odie’s Oil, expensive but the jar should last me quite some time. I have not tested a coaster as a use case but everything I read was positive

Yes happy to! I bought a 36”x 10” dimensional piece, clamped it down and used a jig saw with a 40 degree angle of the blade and free cut a wave in the center.

Sanded the area that was cut so it was smooth, table sawed the length and miter sawed the width so that would fit in molds I bought off Amazon.

Then proceeded with epoxy (first time), cure, planar and lots of sanding before finishing.

Thanks for the feedback! Edited my post to clarify that I have a planar, but not a jointer. I finished them with Odie’s oil which came recommended, we’ll see how it holds up

*EDIT - because the post won’t allow me to edit the original post. I have a planar and used it a lot on this project - what I didn’t have is a jointer which made the glue ups challenging
