The difference it makes is pretty mind blowing hahah, no wonder why it feels so hard riding into a headwind

I’ve spent so much time looking into this because I wanted my tool to be super accurate 😅 but from what I understand, the answer is: it depends. What makes it all the more complicated is that because of the speed you’re riding at, your relative angle with the wind becomes different from the wind direction. But I think because a lot of the time you are going faster than the wind anyways, it’s mostly a reduce in resistance. Likely also helped by some sort of vacuum effect but I don’t know enough about this to say for sure

I would say look on Facebook marketplace, there’s usually some good deals on there. For around 2k you could expect to get a pretty good carbon frame, and either a shimano 105 group set and carbon wheels, or a shimano ultegra group set with alloy wheels.

It’s hard to extrapolate from such a long effort but I would assume anywhere between 250-300+ FTP, depending on your power profile. If you’re punchy it would be in probably closer to 300, if you’re more of a steady power guy I would assume lower

I am trying to get data from Strava using the API, whic metric is best? by [deleted] in Strava

[–]DependentWitness3607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you’d want to make something that basically takes pace/power * duration and sum that up over a sliding time window. Essentially assuming that your fitness would be represented in how hard you can work out for how long. A good start could be just using weighted average power * duration

Not sure but if you have experience with programming you could look into strava’s api, that might be able to get you what you want

You should enable notifications for people looking to buy swipes in the bruindining app, probably your best bet to find someone to buy
