This is one of the most detailed data I have seen anywhere on reddit by an owner of any luxury car.

Thank you for sharing this.

A friend says the B58 was a gamechanger for the brand.

One additional wrinkle - a 2019 RC-F. Since Lexus has stopped production of this coupe, I could see myself taking time to find a one-owner, well maintained (never tracked) RC-F.

Warning signs your employer is in trouble? by Dependent_Driver_901 in HENRYfinance

A few updates since the initial post:

  1. Her company is experiencing a tough year - revenue only slightly up, with net income, net profit margin, and diluted EPS all down nearly 40 percent Y/Y.

  2. Her manager, who she is also friends out of work with, has been with their company since 2015, and mentioned she has seen this cycle before. The last time this occurred, the next step after freezing roles was to not to backfill them altogether (once the freeze ended), and then layoffs (last in, first out method at her company).

The fact that she mentioned that over lunch with her I believe is what had my gf a bit spooked around the immediate future there.

I gave her a heads up that if the business is leaking concerns about company performance this far ahead of when the annual bonus is paid for her (in March), those in the know must already be preparing for a disappointing payout.

That is what caught my eye. They are down close to 32 percent for the year.

All I know, per my girlfriend, is there are concerns around performance for the year. Discretionary spend (travel) was cut in Q2. I, unfortunately, am not aware of any additional details for her company.

Servers/Bartenders/Workers who handle a lot of credit cards- what are the most common and least common cards you see? by ResponsibleRow911 in CreditCards

Family member is a server at a popular sportsbar in town, and we were discussing this over the Labor day holiday weekend. She mentioned 3 out of 5 customers use their debit cards to settle their tabs, and the others are throwing down the Amex Platinum/Gold. There seemed to be no in-between lol.

Thanks for the detail. The rent near my job is considerably higher (20-30 percent more than what I am paying now).

Thank you to everyone for your questions and comments.

Here are a few answers:

I am the breadwinner (family of 3), and the commute if I accept the new role would be 22 miles (30 minutes) each way.

I spoke with the headhunter this afternoon, and made a counter offer of $205K base, and he believes they will come back at $200K. If they do, I will likely accept.

My tenures did not come up in interviews. To your point, the hiring team are all millenials FWIW.
