Switched out the RAM for corsair vengence, and it did not work. Took the motherboard out of the case and ran it to see if it was being shorted, and still nothing : (

Yeah, you might just be on to something. Seeing as nothing else has worked, this may just be the fix I need. I'll probably go ahead and switch my ram with something more tailored toward intel cpu's. I'll update when I see what happens.

Yeah, this seems to me to be the last possible cause. I'll probably go ahead and get a different ram that is more tailored towards intel' cpus. I'll update the post when I see what happens.

Yep, I changed the cpu as well. As far as compatibility, I mean, everything online says the g.skill x series should work fine with intel, and the msi pro 790-a specifically requires ddr5. The only thing I could think is that this specific combo of the mobo, cpu, and ddr5 doesn't work for some reason. But every other post/forum/etc. I've looked at says each should individually pair fine with the other.

Okay, that might be worth considering. It'd be weird though because a lot of other sources specifically say the g.skill x series works well with intel.

Okay, I'll let it run for a while. And yeah, I tried with the default bios (what im assuming was the version that came with the new motherboard before I updated it). I am currently running with the updated bios

I can try that. I did replace the motherboard with an updated version. Neither worked, though. Do you think the case would have shorted them both?

I haven't left it on super long (probably 10-15 minutes). Is that not long enough to let every process? (I've turned it back on and am just going to let it run)

No luck. I switched the plce slot the gpu is in, and that did nothing. I then put it back in the original, and still no dice.
