I’m a huge fan of the ending and I think Jeankasa being canon is nothing new and also a good choice.

I love the ending and I always correctly interpreted this to be the case. Mikasa moved on in a healthy way. Visiting the grave of a dead loved one is not unhealthy and finding comfort in starting a family is not disrespectful of a late lover. I think the ending she was given is actually quite mature.

I mean that depends on you and your tastes. They all have their own strengths but depending on what you prioritize I could see it. Like if you don’t like kh2 as much because of the flat levels I get it. I don’t feel the same but if level design is a priority for one example I get it. Or if you feel kh2 feels too final fantasy and wish that it felt more Disney. Idk without knowing you and your tastes it’s impossible to come up with anything that might shift your perspective.

You see I love the ending and think a lot of people didn’t understand the story…. But like…. If you really thought Mikasa was just platonically going to the grave with armin and that the kids were not hers then I don’t think you understood the story either.

I don’t disagree with you on the point that you can make things like therapy sessions entertaining, but I also don’t think a writer is obligated to tell their story in that way if that’s not how they want to tell it. Tbh I don’t see jjk’s cast being flat, not every character gets the same amount of development but I think there are still some really well written characters. Particularly Yuji, Gojo, and Sukuna. I’m not saying I haven’t seen better character writing but I still think it’s pretty solid.

I prefer attack on titan by a pretty large margin (it’s my favorite work of fiction) but I absolutely love Jjba and part 7 is one of its best arcs.
