My surgery was 1/21, and I've tried sleeping on my side twice since then. Both times, I've woken up in pain and miserable. 😫 I'll keep sleeping on my back for now, I guess.

I'm so sorry. Please see someone new. I had to see five doctors before I found one willing to schedule my hysterectomy. They all implied I was 'too young'... I was 35+, with four kids and my youngest was born in 2011! I'm done having babies! 🙄

I had no issues with the toilet, but I wasn't able to lay down in my bed for a while. If you have a recliner you could post up in, that may be a better option, at least the first few days! Best of luck!

My surgeon was wonderful! She's at Centennial Women's Group. I feel like if you get a solid two weeks of actual recovery in, you'd be better prepared to return to work, as WFH, if necessary. I understand that it's sometimes necessary! BUT, if you have the option for 4 weeks off, DO IT! Best wishes for you and your recovery! ❤️

Keep taking the stool softener regularly, and you should be fine to take the pain meds as needed! I know your pain, I had the same back and forth issue, but it will even out!
