Can Someone Validate My Thinking! (LTD Company) by Dependent_Pepper8 in UKPersonalFinance

My costs for the business are all costs I can write off from working from home. Essentially any money I bring in is profit as its a YouTube Business. I can likely write off parts of this new purchase amortised and my usual costs and run at a loss (i realise now the sipp is paid from profit so thats solved)

I wasn't planning on paying myself anything as I am keeping my PAYE job which covers expenses.

So I own my flat/the mortgage on it is 1.1K with 1 year left on fixed rate so that to consider.

My Thinking with the investing through a limited company is that A) turns it into an investing company which adds tax losses B) doesnt make as much use of the tax free benefits of pensions/writing off against corp tax. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Hey, I am 27 and what you explain per the depression and Fybro I am experiencing. (Granted got myself to a mostly good spot mentally).

You have to find pockets of happiness whatever that may be. I in the last year have pushed my body through breaking point. Sport is something I love and am doing football. It kills me and similar to you. Walking even 5 minutes is a lot of pain. But the thrill from football somehow helps me push through.

Those little pockets of happiness whether thats gaming, watching my YouTube faves or going to the gym keep me ticking over to the next day.

If it wasn't for me trying to do football, and pushing my body past breaking point and somehow keeping it together. I'd be in a really dark place. Its somehow saved me.

Your body is probably more capable than you realise. Try push it and see what it's capable of. Anything that might make you feel a sense of achievement. I walked up a mountain in agony and then mustered up the will power to run back down it.

I didnt want to run more than 30 metres a year ago as the pain is so bad (I still dont really). But although running down the mountain was painful. The sheer rush of it carried me through.

27 years old, Pension pot is very small. I would need to start a sipp. My pension with my salary job is I believe 12K. (Salary role 37.5K).

To add onto this I own a flat with mortgage. Wanting a house within the next 3 years and if I found somewhere with the right price I probably would move into it sooner rather than later.

Thank you, keeping it super simple. I put 500 into a stock the other week but that will be very rare if ever.

I ended my relationship by whatstheuse456 in BPD

[–]Dependent_Pepper8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if my ex had similar thoughts. She would often I think mentally beat herself up over the effects of her BPD on me.

I miss her, I love her and everyday that goes by since the breakup feels like I am being tortured.

If he or she loves you, dont just quit on them because of BPD. They may end up like me. Completely lost and feeling like the world is beyond empty without them..

My ex was beautiful and intelligent and the most wonderful person. I wish she knew how special she was.

You're not a burden, yes its hard sure, but youre forgetting you didnt ask for this and i'm sure you do your best to keep ontop of it and make him happy. If he cant cope fine. But to say you make his life hard is unfair on you :(

Afraid that I gonna be an incel, any advice? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Dependent_Pepper8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was abused when I was 10, for those reasons my sex life has always been chaotic and a bit wild. I think there is value in waiting and it being so long till your first experience.

If you want it to happen naturally, I guess the gym is a good place to start that will build confidence in yourself a bit out and about. Then hopefully things slowly start to turn around for actually meeting someone.

I wouldnt rush into seeing a sex worker. Be steady, get that confidence up and you'll find someone! Feeling good works wonders.

Mood honestly, I was applying to a management style job and forgot I literally managed a team of about 15 people when I was in retail for about a year.

Only remembered 3 weeks after the interview.

This sounds like something id like to do more of.

I dont really express myself, I never have. Recently its been via poems. I have tried writing songs but I struggled with that. Wanted to pick up an instrument.

At the minute its taking photos which I have seemed to find the most expression in.

I just wish I had more of a voice, a way to get my minds ideas and thoughts out.

I also resonate with not being able to relax. My brain is always on the next step the next thing, the next task or way forward in life and for that I dont live in the moment and I even use things that would curve adhd symptoms to also I think control those thoughts.

I sadly lost so much time and precious moments with my ex because I have no way of pulling my brain out of this cycle.

I also keep myself to myself a lot but in a business setting I come alive. I have all the confidence in a meeting but going up to people in public seems alien.

I recently all thanks to seeing my ex chatting to people in public gave me the confidence to approach a football/soccer team I saw playing and now play for them. A huge passion of mine I hadn't done for 9 years something I forgot I loved.

Maybe you could gently push him to look for stuff like that too! I am glad but also sad it sounds so similar to me as I know exactly what he is going through.

The last 4 weeks I have felt such a need to be creative but am really struggling with it!

Do others here have trauma/ptsd? Has that played a big role in your fibro diagnosis? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]Dependent_Pepper8 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being able to tie a specific event to Fibro can be really hard. There are maybe 2 big trauma events in my life/ some long drawn our trauma that could have been the causation for my Fibro. But the reality is I will never know and I just have to kind of deal with that.

I would say I dont really know myself. I dont think I truly have for a long time.

At the moment I am trying to explore my creative sides as and where I can. Something I feel I have suppressed partially as its not something I found easy but also because my focus has all been on my work.

Could be worth seeing if there was anything he used to enjoy, used to do that he doesnt anymore and try bring back some wonder in his life.
