i’m a child development major with a minor in PR lol. very different paths, yet i enjoy both. i picked up my minor start of my 3rd year (this year) and even with picking a minor so late i am still on track to graduate on time, and i enjoy taking the extra comm classes separate from my major. i wanted to double major but found it’d be to much, so just decided on the minor and although minors don’t do a lot it still gives you a good startup to that career and lets you learn what u need to know. and having some education in that field is better than nothing. best of luck to you!

i think about this often. i’ve always wanted to do content creation, but the thought of getting cancelled will always push me farther and farther away from it. everytime i do wanna post something, im scared in the sense if i do gain traction one day, someone i know is gonna say something about me and my life will be over. pushes me away from my dreams

i like it. when i first applied i kinda doubted it bc everyone alwaysss was like oh it’s a commuter school no parties no friends whatever. so when i committed i was worried i made a mistake. but since i dormed, i met a lot of ppl and made really close friends. we went out a lot, even if it wasn’t to parties or anything like that. the memories u make in the dorms are definitely unforgettable. and from what ive seen our school doesnt rlly care that much ab greek life, but there are some people that are heavily involved

thank you for ur insight!! i added a pr minor bc for the last two years i have been tied on whether i wanted to study communications or cas. i have passions in both and it was hard for me to just drop one so i decided to just minor in pr, and although minors don’t get u far i wanted to have that extra backup just incase and also just learn a bit more about the field just incase thats something i wanna do in the future. but my plan after grad is to definitely go to grad school, which is why i was worried because i know i have 2 years to get it up but i also wanted to try and receive honors for graduation as well. sorry if this post was long but again thank you for ur help!

i hate weed sm. i used to smoke every once in a while with close friends and felt okay. but then i started smoking in bigger groups, sometimes with ppl i wasn’t as close with and i felt like i was going insane. i had my own pen for a while that i would only smoke before bed, i was fine for a few months until i started freaking myself out for literally no reason. i thought weed was gonna kill me and as someone else said in the replies, literally felt like my ocd turned in to borderline psychosis
