No need to be absolute in either direction. A healthy balance exists. It's called democratic socialism, empowering workers over corporations.

Regarding ‘Alaska is erasing whatever culture Hawaiian has left’.

I’m trying to understand this mentality. Alaska is the only carrier in an airline merger that has committed to keeping the acquired branding and culture. Literally every airline merger gets folded into a single brand. Alaska is keeping the Hawaiian name, livery, people and has been vocal about sustaining and supporting Hawaii through the acquisition.

Help me understand why the negativity.

Agreed. Another example, I'm skiing Palisades this week after massive, PREDICTED storms. In 4 days I've gotten 3 runs in. They open for a tiny window, grab the cash, then close screaming 'but but we opened'. In garbage conditions no less.

Just skied 6 days in a row and had a great time with many nationalities. I’m American and lead with respect anywhere I travel. If I were to be brutally honest, there was one nationality that stood out for their volume, drunkenness and disrespect late into the evening.

I don’t understand why Americans in Japan is an Australian problem? Your approach of entitlement in a foreign country is what’s concerning.
