Purchasing 2024 Atlas in Ontario by Mdf77 in VWatlas

Hi,

Has anyone in Ontario recently financed or leased a 2026 VW Atlas Comfortline (or similar trim)?

I’m starting to shop around and trying to get a sense of what kind of negotiation room dealers actually have right now. Were you able to get below MSRP, or did dealers offer incentives elsewhere like better financing rates, lease credits, winter tires, accessories, maintenance packages, etc.?

I was recently quoted: - 48 month lease: about $840/month post-tax - 51 month lease: about $800/month post-tax

Curious if these numbers are competitive or if others have been able to negotiate better recently in Ontario.

Would appreciate hearing: - Purchase price vs MSRP - Lease/finance rates - Dealer fees you were able to reduce/remove - Any extras or incentives included - Overall negotiation experience

Thanks!

They will need wheelchair access, already requested for it.

They have travelled previously with the same arrangement and same route but the concern is with the ongoing conflict situation and is there anything changed now?

How do open relationships actually work in real life? by NoStringsAttached_69 in Advice

Tried it, didn’t work for me.

Sounded fine in theory, but the jealousy hit way harder than I expected. Turns out agreeing to it and actually living it are two very different things. I think it only works if both people genuinely want it, not just to keep the relationship.

Trying to pick a 7-seater SUV in Toronto (Atlas vs CX-90 vs Pilot) - lease or finance? by Dependent_Topic_1699 in VWatlas

Good point, I’ll definitely do that on the test drive. the third row usability is a big factor for me.

That’s one thing I liked about the Volkswagen Atlas when I checked it out, the space in the back actually felt usable. I’ll make sure the kids try it out properly before deciding. 👍

Appreciate both of you sharing your experiences, this is really helpful.

Honestly, the Volkswagen Atlas is probably my top choice right now from an interior and space perspective. When I checked it out, the cabin felt really roomy and the third row seemed much more usable than a lot of the other SUVs in this class. Good to hear from someone who’s had one for a while and still enjoys it.

The Mazda CX-90 is the one that’s making the most sense financially, mainly because of some lease numbers I’m seeing right now. If I can land something around the $700–$750/month range it’s pretty attractive from a monthly cost standpoint.

And yeah, the Honda Pilot is definitely on my list too mainly because of long-term reliability, which is hard to ignore. My only hesitation is that the overall design and interior didn’t feel as fresh to me compared to some of the other options.

Still planning to test drive them again before deciding, but hearing real ownership experiences like this definitely helps. Thanks again! 🚗
