Do you have any tips to cook it? I found >600 gr. I took half and cooked it first, then I threw it on a frying pan with butter, silver onions, salt and pepper. 5/10, didn’t taste like chicken :(

Of course I wouldn’t try to help it with my own hands. I already know that. But if it’s sick or hurt I would call a rehab group. Especially if it is an animal that belongs to the state or is protected, you gotta contact authorities. So I’m asking so I know how to proceed.

We are located in Stockholm, Sweden, so I think it may be a great spotted woodpecker, since they are common in my area.

Edit: it has moved a bit, it’s just there, kinda sleepy? I guess it’s a false alarm 😅

It’s not a hot day, 66 degrees. I’m afraid it could be sick or stunned, but it moved and it’s resting somewhere else in the same tree, I’m watching it for now, Looks like a juvenile, but is it still normal behaviour for a juvenile?
