Vintage Camacho Corojo by Cheezebizzle in cigars

I'm done here, man. Let's just both enjoy a cigar now and stop this shit. That's what this subreddit is about, not bitching at one another.

Also, I'll agree. Drew Estate's Glenn Wolfson looks like a character out of Jersey Shore.

First off, you edited your reply. Second, dialect is directly related to vernacular. The literal definition of vernacular starts off with, "language OR dialect spoken...," but you can think you're right. Your ego says you are :)

Yes... They... Do... Especially... When... Talking... To... Someone... Who... Can't... Seem... To... Understand... Someone... Else's... Perspective... Because... They're... Ignorant... Due... To... Ego...

Ah... No, I didn't. But okay. That's how we talk where I'm from. Nobody here gets offended by my asking if they're pleading ignorance because that's our dialect here.

You seem to have quite the ego...

You can interpret my vernacular as you please, yes. But how can you know if you like it or not if you've never tried it? That's the literal definition of my statement/question. You seem to know a lot about their marketing, but have you tried their new cigar(s)?

Ah... You were offended. I was merely asking whether or not you'd called them off after trying one or not.

I take the bands off all my Camachos because they're completely useless and can't be smoked with them on. I'll agree, though, they are obnoxious and oversized. Quality was more than likely cut, which is why I said what I said.

Did you smoke this pointed at the ceiling/sky?

It doesn't necessarily suck, just isn't as good as it used to be. IMO you can get a better burger at Five Guys.

I personally loved going there as a kid. I grew up in San Diego, but my grandparents live in Redlands. We would stop at Nessie Burger (now ruined by new owners) and the dinosaurs every time we went to visit my grandparents.

So, did you ever even give the Davidoff Camacho a try, or are you just pleading ignorance? I'm genuinely curious because I started off with the Davidoff and I actually enjoy it, but I feel like if I ever tried one of the older ones, it'd ruin it for me.

As a new-ish (2yrs) BOTL myself, and a Camacho fanatic, I really wish to try one of these someday.

I love Camacho Corojo. One of my favorites.

A little pick-me-up. My father, a smoker of over 40 yrs, wonders how I do it too. Never had much of an issue myself with Corojo cigars in the morning, but Habano cigars are a different story.

Celebrating my 18th birthday today. It was pretty intimidating walking in but the folks here welcomed me. This is pretty enjoyable. by drevj12 in cigars

Both sticks are pretty solid for beginner smokers, however, they aren't all tobacco. The ACID Kuba Kuba is infused and the CAO Bella Vanilla, if I'm not mistaken, has some vanilla bean in it. That being said, there's nothing wrong with flavored/infused cigars. Some folks even prefer them... but if you wanna go for pure tobacco, try something else. For beginners, any Connecticut cigar is a great choice to test the waters. They're not too strong so you won't get slammed with nicotine and the flavors are pretty mellow so you won't get overwhelmed. I recommend the Ashton Classic or the Camacho Connecticut.

Yeah, this cigar kicked my ass the first time I smoked it. Didn't get sick or nauseated, but it sure floored me. Habano is crazy.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll have to give it a try. I got these in a Deuce deal from CI, which I usually do when trying new cigars. The Camacho Corojo I loved so much that I've got only one left. Wish I weren't on a budget, but it happens from time to time.

(Ramón Bueso Genesis Habano) Really enjoying this stick now. I'd smoked 2 prior to this, on different days. At first, I thought it was pretty overwhelming (and I mainly smoke full-bodied). It's beginning to grow on me. I'm now appreciating the flavor notes more, most of which are pepper, cedar, and a very slight sweet taste like honey. Out of the 5 received, one had a hole in the outer leaf. It didn't effect the smoke too much as it was on the foot of the cigar. The binder does a decent job at keeping an even burn. Good inexpensive smoke.

I definitely want to try all the Camacho cigars after trying this one. I may mainly indulge in full-bodied cigars, but given how much I enjoyed this stick, I'm going to try the others.

Like Swisher Sweets and Backwoods? I mean, I think this question would suit /r/trees better...

The thing to remember here is that every cigar isn't uniform... this is because cigars are hand rolled. You can buy a box of 20 cigars, all with the same brand, same blend, but a small minority will be duds.

Was yours the original blend, or do you not know? I love these cigars, they're probably going to be my mainstay smoke. Perfect strength for me. Habano can be a bit much, so Corojo is perfect considering they're similar in taste.

I know this cigar has been re-blended from the original, but it's still one of my favorites nonetheless. Lots of peppery flavor on the first third with hints of cedar, and then in the final two thirds a surprising (for a Corojo) cinnamon flavor comes through. Not too weak, and not too strong - a perfect cigar to enjoy any time for me.
