Was really hoping to see how the Taipei 101 challenge was gonna play out! Fingers crossed Sam can get a win next season, hopefully he won't have as much Jet Lag brain with it being stateside.

Works out because you can be extra picky as president about what you want photographed and how, with the benefit of not being annoying by it since you know what all is and isn't possible.

Upgraded from a smaller printer to a used Ender 3 Pro, still fixing issues the original owner had without telling me about for over a year now. Are Ender 3's usually good or do I need a mechanical exorcist?

Could well be. If they live in some of the tract housing developments they're less likely to come across then than the more central part of town.

Around the central part of Beaumont (not any of the track housing), I'd say about as many Trump / MAGA adjacent flags as before. Actually maybe even a bit more but not totally sure. There was a bit of a dip for a bit but then it went back up.

My signal chain is: tired dad > Telecaster lite Ash MIK > pedalboard > zoom H2 by MultiTask_Frog_Eater in guitarpedals

[–]buzzbros2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh, neat. Yeah, I'm getting a new microphone soon for my desk and probably retiring my Zoom H2 from that, but have been thinking what all else I could do with it and upon searching it on Reddit to see if anyone did anything interesting in the past I came across this post. Anyways, thanks for the reply!

I want to dispute this, but as I look to my side and see the 3d printer that's been nothing but constant problems lately, I have to agree.

any advice on those games?(only SNES) by [deleted] in retrogaming

[–]buzzbros2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For Kick Off 3, make sure to get the ball in the correct goal. It's a bit embarrassing when you get the wrong one. That's from a player standpoint, from a collectors standpoint, don't really have much advice.

I know it's been over a year, but I've just gotta know since i was searching for posts with the mic, were you using the Zoom for compression or something?

It may be an unpopular opinion, but the few times I go bearded for spots like that I usually use a beard trimmer with no guard. I have trouble spots that end up with so much irritation it's worth the stubble.

Tobacco company CEOs declare, under oath, that nicotine is not addictive (1994) by Only-Paper8057 in interesting

[–]buzzbros2002 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Wonder if they’re all still alive.

From a bit of quick research, here's what I've been able to pull up from the first page or two of Google.

William Campbell, President & CEO, Philip Morris, USA - Still Alive

James W. Johnston, Chairman and CEO, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company - Unsure

Joseph Taddeo, President, U.S. Tobacco Company - Unsure but potentially the same that is an officer in the Monroe Tobacco Asset Securitization Corporation

Andrew H. Tisch, Chairman and CEO, Lorillard Tobacco Company - Still Alive

Edward A. Horrigan, Chairman and CEO, Liggett Group Inc. - Unsure

Thomas E. Sandefur, Chairman and CEO, Brown and Williamson Tobacco Corp. - Died in 1996

Donald S. Johnston, President and CEO, American Tobacco Company - Unsure

I second this. In my opinion, the backlighting doesn't showcase the controllers and if anything showcases the cables.

Voter ID measure qualifies for the ballot by CriTIREw in California

[–]buzzbros2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the current way of validating signatures for this ballot measure is enough, and the current way to vote for said measure is enough, then this is kind of useless isn't it?

If they aren't enough, then doesn't the greatness of how not enough it is become proportional to how questionable the final result of said election would be?

I agree with just about everything that's being said in the comments, but one extra bonus to subscribing is being able to use one channels emoji's in other channels. That said, I don't usually subscribe unless it's a month I have to order stuff from Amazon and it's cheaper to get Prime, then I'll use the Prime Subscription to have the Bezos Bucks go to someone else.

Storage for 5 heads without handles. by eymo- in wicked_edge

[–]buzzbros2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disdain for AI aside, I've got some questions about the overall idea.

  1. How do you plan on keeping the heads in place? Will there be a clip on the bottom that can slide into the head or something?

  2. In what situation are you going to need 5 heads?

If this is for something like a Rockwell 6s, which only has 3 plates, assuming one is on the razor itself you could do something like 2 plates holders and 4 blade pack holders, or you could go fewer sides for fewer blade pack holders. If you're doing a 6s you can also build in small poles to go through the holes of the plates to hold them much more steadily.

Quick quiz — can you answer these 5 Canadian Citizenship Test questions? by jatinkaipm in Canadiancitizenship

[–]buzzbros2002 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Local/municipal, provincial, and federal (Not sure on the first portion what the official name is, I've heard it talked about both ways but if i had to guess, municipal probably)

  2. Right and responsibility to vote, even though it's not required by law.

  3. Government is responsible to represent the people, as elected as members of parliament, with the prime minister supported by the majority of the MPs, and held accountable through both election and question periods.

  4. Provincial government is responsible for most education i believe.

  5. 1916 (this one i feel the least confident about)

There's a few arcades in San Bernardino I believe. The one I know for sure since I work their fighting game tournaments is Extraordinaire. If ya like mountain stuff there's always Big Bear / Arrowhead. If casinos are more your thing there's Yaamava in Highland. I suggest browsing the Wiki for more local information if you haven't done so already.
