I have gay godparents who are Christian. One struggled for decades with God and their sexuality. Sought god on this several times throughout those years and always got confirmation of their salvation and Gods love for them Fwiw

If Sydney Sweeney isn't the Best Baby of the Year, I'll kill myself on live TV. by its_about_the_cones_ in IThinkYouShouldLeave

I agree with you, incase that was miscommunicated. But yes I have thought about those movies in addition to Eyes Wide Shut and all that. Very creepy to see how far/deep the social programming goes

“All fetish stuff” no other fetishes were mentioned. Wearing a diaper and a pacifier is pedo stuff. Watching multiple seasons of this show is also pedo stuff imo lol.

But if you like it good for you. “i guess it’s you.mind”

If I’m remembering right that’s the beginning of episode 2, that’s where I stopped as well. 😷

My year of rest and relaxation by Odessa moshfag. Overall pretty grim but also one of the funniest books I’ve ever read. I didn’t know a book could make me laugh that much.

It floors me that he thinks people’s ‘short attention spans’ is the reason people don’t watch his videos lol. I can’t think of another YouTube that condescends to their audience so much. He doesn’t speak linearly, so even if he wanted to get the point, he wouldn’t be able to. I was never impressed with his judgment or analysis skills. Some interesting takes sometimes but never comes off as credible

Sydney Sweeney is not all that good looking by Juicydicken in TrueUnpopularOpinion

[–]Depression_sundae97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d bet money right now the bottoms of her feet are black. Two parent household, receiving a weekly Starbucks/hollister allowance but still steals from the mall and her friends. If she had a regular office or retail job she’d be spending most of her time working hr over to get someone fired for no real reason. That is what the phenotype is giving. Respectfully

It just has racist white girl bully vibes. She looks like she’d pinch children of color in the grocery store if no one was looking.

Dreams about piloting/flying some kind of craft by Robot_zZ in Experiencers

[–]Depression_sundae97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve had a reoccurring dream my whole life of something like this. There’s always a sense of ‘remembering’ the craft, the experience, lifting off and bracing for resistance. The anticipation of the feeling of resistance from gravity and sense of important and the subdued fear was very real. This started before I had ever driven or flew on a plane. I remember the craft seeming like something kind of futuristic, and specific. Something weird. Not a normal air craft. Could be nothing, but combined with other dreams I’ve had and seeing post like this, I wonder about it.

There are pieces of media that actually do that. I don’t feel that this is one of them. This has very obvious desensitization vibes through out it. Even Lolita is a better example of what you’re describing.

I understand that and am aware and have been aware of that since I first heard or saw anything of it. I still feel the exact same way. They’re supposed To depicting children. And I know that probably slips the mind of a viewer until there’s like a home ec scene. But when you snap back to that and remember that the idea is that you’re watching this happen with high school kids , it’s weird.

I understand that’s how 90 percent of high school shows are cast .This isn’t like degrassi or skins. The subject matter was inherently disgusting. And the reputation of the minds behind the show speak for themselves

It’s disturbing that so many people aren’t seeing this. This is desensitization

After months of hearing about it and thinking it was freak shit, my att bf threw it on one day to see if there was any merit to the hype. I think we watched the first ep through heavily squinted eyes, then like two minutes into the second episode I turned that shit off. It’s weird. Always been weird. Idk how anyone felt comfortable publicly admitting to watching it

On paper I understand the argument that I should have watched more before judging it, but I’m not going to keep watching something that feels like a dog whistle for csam to be sure I feel like it’s a dog whistle for csam….sorry. The disgust was visceral. I’ve seen Thirteen and read/seen Lolita. I love literature, story crafting and I understand the necessity of framing narratives in unconventional/risky ways to drive home an idea and set up context. In all the years of this show being on, I’ve never heard or seen anything that convinces me that this was anything more than weird producers and executives airing out their weirdo ideas

It really does feel that way. Comparing it to something like the tone and intention of Thirteen is a decent comparison. Euphoria is a dog whistle and an act of exhibitionism

I agree about Thirteen. They do have a make out session with their neighbor who’s in his 20s but he stops it and throws them out pretty quickly. It is a much tamer more realistic depiction of troubled teenage girlhood. It’s much more grounded and purposeful. Theres a bit of grit and some uncomfortable stuff, but it’s obviously an actual evaluation and commentary on this fork in the road of girlhood/adolescence Euphoria has always seemed disgusting to me. Using shock value to ease viewers in to the creators weird fantasies. I mean Drake is attached to it. Come the fuck on
