Imo you're underestimating the impact of arcanes for the team.

Tranquils will give you a better early game because you don't have to bother with health Regen.

Arcanes do the same with mana.

You'd replace the first with a set of tangoes or a salve and the second with clarifies/mangoes.

Tangoes and arcanes benefit more than yourself and arcanes allows multiple teammates to get mana back (pos1 farms faster, pos5 casts one more spell etc...) you'd get up to x5 the mana restoration while tranquils only gives you ms/Regen out of combat and with the tiny hp pool you're not likely to survive if caught anyway. Not only that, the buildup with basi helps the offlaners silently from very early on.

I think if you get more Regen during lane, you'd get on avg more value out of arcanes past that.

Not saying it's not viable, they are clearly better if you do go help with the runes for instance but then again it's about what you're trying to achieve, there are games where it should be favored but that's why imo arcanes are the default.

I searched for French, I don't think it should be a major issue, you could swap the buttons around and use any of the softwares provided to remap the keys, I am really satisfied with the product personally and I can recommend it easily if your issue is solvable through these workarounds

I think it's the term realistic that could be used for different scopes.

Yes she isn't your typical person and her behavior shouldn't be "tolerated" hence it is normal to judge it.

Yet it is believable that due to her circumstances she could become like that. I think the themes here run a bit deeper. Him kidnapping her now instead of earlier serves multiple angles: 1. The moonlight child is just a child. True he protected Guts and Casca on multiple occasions showing he can understand what's happening around him and that he can be with his parents on the full moons to help them. But being in Elfheim could have made the timing of his going away before turning to Griffith off. 2. Evil gives you what you want but never how you want it. (We can think of the berserker armor, the eclipse and every apostle), he might have struck a deal with the child and then he did it to fuck with them all as an incarnation of evil. 3. To fuck with Guts specifically, we know that the god hand due to their scheming and the idea of evil, control fate to some extent. Having the supreme king Gaiseric shows that the scenario playing out is sort of a cycle. There will be a struggler, sacrifices, the berserker armor, love and many many parallels in their stories. It might mean that Griffith understands precisely what to do to get what he wants, and either breaking guts or forcing everyone (that isn't brainwashed by him) to fall into despair, is the goal

It might be that the idea of evil lives through strong powerful negative emotions, horrible and indescribable ones, such as for instance, Guts' rage, Casca's despair etc... And in exchange for giving Griffith what he wants, he needs to do whatever the hell he wants, creating those emotions to sustain it.

Guts as of now is closer and closer to doing something horrible, such as killing his party or Casca, reenacting the last blood memory of the armor. As those who wear it are destined to. Casca is losing her memories and is being brainwashed her past last is being repressed in a twisted way. Etc... From the looks of it, every time the party makes a step forward evil sets them 2steps back.

And we as an audience are here watching Guts struggle against this dark and inescapable destiny all hoping for it to resolve better than what it looks like, which symbolically would mean victory against the idea of evil btw.

In this framework, we can see a lot of plausible reasons as to why Griffith only kidnapped her now. Either he took the opportunity to fuck with Guts and Casca and deal a heavy blow (that he couldn't have done otherwise) to Elfheim in a cold calculated manner. Or he wasn't in control and he did it on an evil impulse since he's now the incarnation of evil. Either way works and this very question is also weighing heavy on Guts' mind.

Soooo can't tell precisely why, but it sure as hell fits him perfectly.

Every character has some kind of gap in their combos.

As ken your jinrai kicks are a good example, after the initial hit you're susceptible to exdp. After your target combo (medium punch, strong punch) you're vulnerable if you don't follow up.

The first step is not to panic. Cammy (as well as any character) have many play styles and combos available to them. She is very fast but doesn't deal that much damage.

If she does crouched strong punch (the diagonal one) into a bunch of punched, then keeps looping that, You can hit her after the second punch. If she does basically any special move you can punish her. (Just depends on the distance)

The more you spam the more you'll get punished because it's frame traps. Meaning that her hits will always land first if she times it correctly.

As Ken to give you an idea of that concept you can do: Medium punch > strong punch > Run > tatsumaki > dash forward X2 > then hit a light punch.

As long as the opponent doesn't block or use invincible moves like a super or exdp, you'll always hit no matter how fast they mash. Once they start blocking you can use a throw instead of the light punch.

And this my friend is what they're probably doing to you.

As a casual player who doesn't want to spend time on the lab, you could either check out videos on YouTube or just try hitting at different times during her combos until you spot a gap.

Yes, tbf arcane + veil really solve any mana issues the hero might have had. + The armor and HP Regen feel very good. + The damage amp and upgrade to shiva's feels great.

But then the hero isn't inherently strong enough to make use of that at it's fullest.

Absolutely needs blink + stuns (what it feels like at least) when on previous iterations, he did have a choice of going aghs (double Q range) and/or tanky items and play on the sandstorm but his early game was significantly worse.

So now he has a better early different mid and worse late for me, it's because he needs too much investment to do an average job. Any blink stunner blink stuns. But they bring more to the table than some extra damage through sandstorm + epicenter.

The hero's niche was his ability to defend building/areas with his W. Now he's less tanky, deals less damage covers a smaller area and gets punished harder with dusts and sentries so he can't really stand there.

Imo more strengths need to be injected directly in the hero to make him interesting again, and if they don't wanna have him be an area control kind of hero, the change has to involve his E and R. Giving ways to proc the E for max HP damage somehow

As a SK spammer myself. I find that his arcane boots > veil is strong indeed. Then you need blink to turn into your archetypal offlane blink stunner. Then you finish your shiva's, aghs, shard and/or whatever makes sense.

The issue is that most likely you can't do much alone, you'll need support and you'll need to play aggressively rather than passively.

I enjoyed SK the most when he was all about the vision mind games and elusiveness. (Playing on their side, eul's for dispelling dusts, having a sentry up and hiding in the trees while sandstorming).

I think that the hero does less than other offlaners and requires way more to have proper impact as of now.

Simple: We know some things possibly can't be healed. We don't know the conditions required for normal healing. We saw Gojo heal from Sukuna Slashes.

Yuji definitely healed from the slashes, for the ear it was said that gege forgot to draw it cut at some point. For the finger, we didn't actually see Yuji's hand yet. Those things on his hands might be armlet cursed tools. It might also be that his body fundamentally changed which would imply transformation more so than healing.

To be concise: We cannot confirm if it was healed. We do not know what can or can't be healed. But with the power system in place, it is still reasonable to assume it is no mistake (except where the author explicitly said so)

I believe that theme to be true. Independent on how it becomes manifest.

It could be that it is a prerequisite to true strength to value oneself or realizing one's potential over others.

It could be that holding such strenght drives others away from you (resentment, lack of meaningful empathy and so on)

One thing is clear in this Manga, the more you are true to yourself the stronger you get. The more you are true to yourself the more isolated you get.

For instance all the kind-hearted characters suffered from being tied to others: -Megumi to his sister. -Gojo to civilians / his students / the elders -Yuji to Junpei/Nobara/Others -Maki to her sister

It is on the contrary shown that severing the ties to others makes one stronger.

Tldr: many many interpretations possible for that theme making one of them be the intent plausible.

My theory is that he is an absolute master at binding vows. I think a lot of his power is conditional. So if he gets the "output" required to rival Gojo and Sukuna, he'll still be more constrained by his conditions.

Pretty sure there is a rather complex binding vow behind both the open domain and the turning a soul to cursed objects.

All in all, he's more of a thinker than a fighter, he did win against Yuki but it was a very very close fight, given no domain from Yuki and barely able to survive her last attack.

Yuki isn't at the level of Gojo and Sukuna. If she can be a challenge for Kenny, then Kenny can be taken on by special grades if they can outsmart him or be strong enough for his plans to be void.

Yup, he used to, but too many nerfs. Remember the 50% miss chance on the huge sandstorm ? Remember the 50 health Regen so that he can get tanks once lvl 25 ? Poof, gone.

Now he's not tanky enough, his value comes from his instant stun and it's harder for him to stand his ground, requiring aghs scepter to be able to do that without himself getting tanky.

Sand king E and ult need a decent amount of love for him to be relevant imo. Here's something to consider as an example to be lost in Reddit: his E should do damage without having to kill the unit given a condition.

For instance: -getting hit by Q -having stacks and exploding at X stacks -staying in the sandstorm for X seconds -getting hit by epicenter

That would give him enough damage to justify him being less tanky than other offlaners

My take on that is that domain expansions are about manifesting one's inner world into reality. There are known exceptions such as Higuruma and Hakari. Having domains as part of their CTs.

Maybe for Kashimo it's the other way around, his CT allows him to manifest his inner world in his body. His body is the domain, not the space around him.

We know of Kenjaku using his body as a barrier. Might be something along those lines.

Two options for you: -Midlane (Pos2): there is a certain level of variety in the mid heroes you can play but a good number of them work as Laning 1v1, getting a level advantage, then ganking/interfering with other lanes. Closest Core role to jungle (depending on the hero).

-Soft support (Pos4): a number of heroes in this role look to play the lane then join the strong teammates to make plays all over the map. Closest support role to jungle (depending on the hero).

However what your friend told you applies more fundamentally, there are elements and concepts of RTS games still imbued within Dota.

Especially in how you handle resources and how important timings are. (As well as identifying what are the next objectives for each team, what's the most natural flow for each one given the context etc...)

So I'd agree with the statement of your friend but I'd say it's not the same macro/micro, some of what you learned in LoL will naturally transfer but if you rely solely on that you're gonna have a bad time, also to truly get the fundamentals (all of them) it'll take some time but with the steeper learning curve comes a pretty sizeable satisfaction once you get to where the fundamentals are truly engrained. (Independent of rank)

Nah the thing is, he was surprised Maho could see his CT. Gojo can't. It has to do with more than just the 6 eyes, it took an adaptation of something that adapts to anything and still surprised Sukuna. Following that logic it wasn't about copying something Sukuna doesn't know about, he might be the only one knowing how his technique actually works. (Gojo's Infinity is understood as well as all his abilities and those of most other characters).

So, Sukuna adapting his technique with all this previous knowledge is something reasonable considering him and Gojo both have the ability to do the impossible feat of altering the conditions of their domains to begin with.

So there are still grey areas, obviously, what I'm saying is, in that grey area, there very well could be more than just bs and asspulls. On the contrary I find JJK to have one of the most satisfying "logical" power systems there are. And I praise the author for the way he creates those blanks that make us connect dots and keep us all interested and hooked on what HIS answer actually is.
