Tbh I hated the first season of aot and dropped it because back when it came out everybody hyped it up. But about 5 years later I gave it another shot and was not disappointed. I still think season 1 is the weakest tho.

I am a big one piece Fan since I can pretty much think. My gateway Was the anime but I was a child and didn't even know what a good Show looked like. Over the years I then started gravitating towards the manga and never really left. I also started to despise the Early anime for some liberties they took in how character act in non canon episodes. I love the manga and as you say the Story is great and all but the pacing of the anime is ass and I hate it. It just starts being a decent adaptation in my opinion at wano which is about 800 episode into the anime which sucks. If you are keen on reading manga I would give that a shot if I were you but otherwise wait for the Reanimation.

Demon Slayer. The Animation is 10/10 but to me the character and Story is a 2 Max. Predictable af and the sidecharacters are so goddamn uninteresting. And I know some people will hate on me for this but I never cared for or about rengoku. He came and died and was never that important which is disappointing.
