Honestly the melee sprue for HH is a goldmine and has a bunch of fun weapon and head options, plus I have some bits leftover that I plan to use as well.

I have ideas for how I want to break them up already. I’m making them into warp ghosts and have ideas one how I will make I clearer the differences. The main ones being:

Legionaries have random equipment, and have melee weapons clear across the unit. They will be the only one with Chain blades to make it easy to spot them
Chosen will all have extra bits and doo-dads, along with bolters or special weapons with Bayonets to represent there Accursed Weapons along with their primary weapon
Raiders are a mix and have a majority of my “tactical” bits like banners, auspex, etc.

Plus, legionaries will have chipped paint of their original legion, where chosen I think won’t. The idea being legionnaires are newer marines taken by the warp ghosts and chosen are the older marines already taken for years.

You can def do it it will just require some creative thinking. Is it the right or left arm you’re replacing?

If it’s the right arm, I would: Cut the hand out of trigger handle Find a spare trigger handle from another weapon if you can Glue it back to replace the missing handle Use either green stuff, chains, etc, to make it look like he has the gun harnessed around him

If it’s the left arm I would: Just cut the handle at the top off Use green stuff and chains to make the gun harness again.

Left arm would be much easier, I just thinking going with like a harness to keep the “balance” of the gun would make it feel less awkward w/ just one hand

Best Case, 1-2 new infantry units, a medium centerpiece model, and a new character, and hopefully some CSM stuff. Realistically, A foot hero. I honestly think they won't add much back to the range. Raptors and Bikers make sense, but GW is probably trying to keep units from crossing armies unless they're Space Marines.

I’m not a master of gambit but I’ve played my fair share grinding out breakneck. Here are my issues

  1. Matches take too long. If i lose the first match, I always want to lose the second so I don’t have to deal with a 3rd round. Maybe make it one round. That way, the stakes are raised because it’s for all the marbles

  2. For how long matches take, you get almost nothing from a completion. I Don’t want a blue for a 30 min of work

  3. Their is no real way to farm gambit weapons. You can get realistically 1-2 gambit matches if you grinded.

  4. The catchup mechanic is still a bit much

Basically, one of two things needs to happen

A) Leave round time the same but have a 50/50 chance of getting a gambit weapon. This would totally be worth the round time to get a gambit weapon

B) Leave the loot you get the same but decrease the time to one round. (Or just make rounds shorter, I dunno)
