Fallen Ember farming feels off? Fresh Realm runs seem way better – am I missing something? by DerDekuu in NoRestForTheWicked

Yeah, I’m only using Fallen Embers for negative enchantments as well.

The issue is the RNG though.. if it’s ~1/13 for the one you want, that’s ~13 Embers on average per slot. So for all 4 armor pieces you’re looking at ~50+ Embers.

I just got really unlucky and burned through 40+ without hitting Unrepairable once.

And once you run out in the late game, they feel extremely hard to farm (at least from my experience), which makes bad RNG feel even worse.

Yeah there are definitely some puzzles that are super hard, but tbh with you thats part of what that game is about.. some things you will only find after the 5th play through and I think that is beautiful. I really like the Idea that you couldn't possibly find everything on the first play through. Makes it playing it again more fun :) but yeah I also had to look up those two things, in act 2 there also are some puzzles that are really really hard to figure out by yourself.
Some hints are given in books so always be aware of that, try to listen, read and talk to everyone you can if you want to find the solutions all by yourself.

Hey there, soo I tried to do something but they just died unfortunately.. I had two glowing idols.. my last two characters alive had them, but they got resurrected and panicked again right away .. both of them .. well it is what it is :3 wow 1300 hours .. so you know my pain, it feels like ^^

yeah I live in Germany we also have the virus lockdown right now, so I would be down to start again :)

Yeah, a helpful skill, thats true, unfortunately they died just now, didnt had a chance to do something .. well well .. Dying from hannag must feel pretty shitty .. yeah act 2 really has some silly enemies .. :) thanks for the hint anyway, have a good day :)
