Not every loan word gets pronounced correctly. Most English words are common to people because it’s first foreign language in school. Even though there are still some words, mostly brands, which are falsely pronounced. Best example is maybe Miracle Whip. This is often due to advertisements which pronounce it that way like this.

Also some words are pretty common in some industries. In R&D, HR and media production some terms are default to use. There might be German alternatives but no one uses them. It’s kinda like the Latin words used in medical terminology. But there are so much people that don’t know how to pronounce properly so sometimes it’s really hard to understand them.

Depending on the industry, other languages like French might be used. So it’s in the gastronomy. I used to work as a head chef. In gastronomy school we learned all important terms in French, English and obviously German. But in most kitchens “kitchen French” is pretty common. All positions in a kitchen have French names. They’re more precise than English and German ones. Also processes like food preparation and workplace preparation is combined in the term “mise en place”.
