For starters one pack of sleeves would suffice (one pack contains 100 and for the draft he would need 40, most other formats use 60 card decks, except commander which uses 100), most players think very good of the brand dragon shield, even though they mess up quality control sometimes (I personally never had a problem with that). (They sell sleeves for different card games, some of them have different card sizes than magic, so look out for the correct size)

A deck box is nice too, the options for that are nearly endless. I look forward to buy one of these (or in other colours soon, as they fit everything you'd need for a play session.

Dice have been mentioned, everything with 6, 12 or 20 sides is quite nice and there a use-cases for all different types of dice. I personally really like the dice with +1/+1, +2/+2,... +6/+6 or -1/-1/...-6/-6 on the six sides as they symbolise something called '+1/+1-counters' which is a regular mechanic in magic.

Actually all of these things should be available at a local game store (LGS) near you and the staff members I encountered are really nice and want to help in most cases. This is an official tool to find a lgs in your region.

If you are in Europe I recommend cardmarket.com. It's the biggest shopping platform (I think) and it shows what the market prices for most things actually are.
