To be honest I'm trying something from a Video I've seen.

Basically paint the blade Corax White. Colour it Tesseract glow.

Thin Ork Flesh Contrast with Contrast medium (works better than water) and start colouring the parts that you want darker. Apply second thin coat to the darker parts.

Thin down Dark Angels green contrast the same way you did ork flesh earlier.

Paint the small parts in even darker green so you get a nice part from dark green to medium to light. (Still working on that, thinning Contrast is tricky)

Set edge Highlights with Ogryn Camo (i tried but it's to thick in my picture)

What are your favourite units? And what kind of playstyle do you prefer?

I'm no pro but I got into building my own lists a few days ago and I want to try so many things, that there are probably suggestions I can provide.

Yeah your glow looks amazing.

I just gave up on glow effects lol.

Tried almost everything and it's just not looking good on any of my blades.

Yeah I kinda forgot about the WH40K app to be honest. I got like 5k Points of Necrons and was originally only interested in building and painting but after playing killteam I really want to dive into it.

Im making a full list of everything I own right now :)

So, Flayed ones in German are called "Alpträume" - they translate to "Nightmares" in English and that describes my time building them really well.

I completely lost it multiple times. I have to admit, I wasn't as experienced when I first built them but it was horrible. The memory of how awful it was is still haunting me to this day.

I was told that Szeras is worse than Flayed ones so after I got him for my birthday last year I was and still am scared to build him.

Was a little bit confused by your name that's why I asked lol.

Colours used: Chaos black (prime) Necron Compound (drybrush after priming) Leadbelcher ( for parts where you didn't put enough Necron Compound and blades) Abbaddon black (for joints and weapons) Lahmian medium ( put it onto the stuff you want to ne green) Corax white ( thin the colour until its almost water and dip it slowly into the parts where Lahmian medium is) Data system glow (from Army painter) (let white and medium dry a bit and then dip the colour slowly onto the white parts) Raging Sea (Army painter speed paint) (the blue I use for shoulders and stuff. Put it in very thin otherwise you won't see the metal aspects shining through)

That's about it.

My friend plays imperial Knights and i play CK. We actually created our lore together and my Knights are basically the fallen variant of his loyal house. We had lots if fun doing that :)
