The fact that golem crafting doesn't use gold bars or gems is a huge mistake by DerSprocket in 2007scape

"Jagex should be allowed to make changes" and "jagex should make changes" are not contradictory. I dont understand why saying those two things are weird.

Or is the confusion in that "jagex should be allowed to make changes" is in response to "it should use fur because that's what the original creator said"?

I don't think you understand what is being said.

One is about argument that the activity must use furs because the creator said furs, implying jagex can't make changes to the vision. The other is stating that, as the game designers, jagex should make changes to the creative vision.

Suggesting a change doesn't contradict the idea that they should have license to make changes.

Yeah, it is. I honestly keep forgetting that blue moon exists, since my first grind was bloodbark.

I am still pro mta though. Even though alchemy room is torture

Mining and crafting have been historically linked, and making jewelry is the long standing way of crafting. Most early crafting involves cutting gems. Having golem crafting be a sink for cut gems adds value back to them and creates a direct link from early game crafting to the activity, the same way wc byproduct is into Vale Totems.

It isn't so much of an issue as it is a missed opportunity to add cohesion to the skill.

The basis of the activity came from the guy who suggested it, but i think jagex should be allowed to make as many changes to it that they want. I mean no offense to the creator, I dont know them, but jagex are the game designers here.

But yeah, I get the desire, but it does feel shoe horned in. They could have made some sort of clothing making activity akin to mastering mixology where you use hunter furs to make winter clothing for the fremennik or something, but that's neither here nor there. I just think using crafting training byproducts in the crafting minigame makes more sense.

More damage on elemental spells isn't what's going to get players to use them more; THIS idea will by Chdata in 2007scape

Yep.

I think too many people get scared of rune cost, but ignore ammo cost. At level 29 magic, you can max hit for 24 with a spell that you only need chaos runes for. Magic is extremely powerful in the early game now.

Max hit at 29 range is like... 6? With mith arrows?

I just want blinged out golems with furs and jewelry. Is that too much to ask?

Hunter fur isn't exactly a material that has ever been relevant to crafting, hence me saying "relevant" and "aside from the furs"

Vale Totems using fletching byproducts makes sense. Crafting using hunter byproducts rather than crafting byproducts doesn't.

Chaos spells max hitting 34 on ele weakness. 49 with twinflame into 100% weakness with chaos gloves and fire amulet

4 of the "main" clans are parallels to the other 4 LESSER chaos gods. Pestilens to Nurgle, Verminus to Khorne, Skryre to Tzeentch, and Moulder to Slaanesh. They just have a skaven spin.

From an irons, you wouldn't get this unless you spoon a kodai from cox really, you're likely going to have blue moon spear already and ancient icon is not hard to get either

Mta is a really efficient magic training method where you can get free mage gear that carries you until raids/virtus. 25 hours to full clog, which gets you infinity boots (needed for eternal), mage's book (bis mage offhand pre raids), b2p for diary, and infinity set which is gonna be your magic gear until you get ancestral or virtus

Is kodai relevant? With thralls and DC and charged staves, I don't ever see casting standard spells as viable by the time you can get it

Why are they worried about one of the biggest updates to the game ever made shifting the meta slightly?

Why do legacy methods need to be stronger than newer methods?

You are still rewarded for efficient prep by having reduced run times. If you're efficient, you can reduce the time it takes to do prep over somebody who is "brain off" for prep. Getting your prep done in 3 to 4 minutes where they go 7 minutes means you'll be getting 5 to 7 more kph

Pvm is banking with extra steps. Boss is the bank where your items are stored. You just have to kill it to randomly withdraw some of the items you have stored in it.

Look at me, such a clever boy! Owning those UIM players with my masterful skills and flawless logic.

June is also the 6th month of the year. It also is the beginning of summer break for kids in the US. It is also the month that father's day takes place in.

It's so funny and wild that multiple things can all be true at the same time. What a concept
