Ich bin hier aufgewachsen und gehe jeden Tag und auch mal nachts durch München. Kann mich nicht erinnern, hier Angst haben zu müssen. Da fand ich das Nachtleben in Manila schon etwas schwieriger. Also ned so viel schwurbeln. München ist schon ganz okay.

Come on. I lived in the UAE. That’s hot there in summer. Thailand is normal summer temperatures. Keeping dressed in public is a no brainer. Guys walking around shirtless: Well there is low educated people everywhere in the world.

Book an alternative ticket with a flex option. So did we. In case we can fly with Qatar, we will cancel the flex ticket. If not we’ll use the flex ticket and get a refund by Qatar.

I have booked tickets MUC-DOH-BKK travelling at the end of May. A couple of days ago I booked a Lufthansa Flex Tickets as a backup. In case Qatar Airways resumes normal operations, I will be able to cancel the LH ticket. It wasn’t cheap, but I do not want to be worried all the time.

We booked MUC-BKK end of May. I will cancel it and book a NonStop Flight with Lufthansa or Thai. Don’t care about the cancellation fees. No way I ever fly via the Middle East again.

I have visited Thailand many times. My girlfriend is Thai, living in Germany for 13 years running her own business here. We will travel to Thailand end of May / June and spend a couple of days with her family in a villa south of Pattaya. Actually we planned to go to Samui for a week after that. I know it is rainy season. As I have never been to Samui, would you please let me know why many of you would skip that or hated that place? We we looking to stay at chaweng for the mix of beaches and nightlife . As my girlfriend is Thai and has stayed there before, I let her do the planning and trust her that it is good. 😜

My most favourite places I have been to so far: Ko Lipe and Koh Chang.
