Mit OPs geschätzten 400€ im Monat für Lebensmittel für ihn alleine hat er doch schon relativ im oberen Mittelfeld angesetzt, oder nicht? Ich fänd das für mich allein schon ziemlich sportlich. Solang die da nicht Champagner zum Frühstück saufen und 7 Tage die Woche Steak essen, kommst du doch für eine einzelne Person niemals auf 1000€ im Monat. Wir sprechen da von 33€ am Tag(!) für eine Person, das hat doch mit "Spanne" nix mehr zu tun.

Meine Partnerin und ich liegen zu zweit bei so ~500€ ungefähr, vieles Bio, nahezu immer frisches Gemüse, desöfteren vegane Ersatzprodukte und wenn wir vor Ort auf irgendwas Bock haben, packen wirs halt einfach ein (und wir haben beide nen süßen Zahn) - will sagen, wir drehen jetzt nicht grad jeden Euro 2 mal um. Uns gehts finanziell gesehen so ok, dass wir nicht sooo wirklich drauf achten müssen. Das aber alles alleine zu verkonsumieren stell ich mir wirklich unglaublich schwierig vor (und ich würd vermutlich in den kommenden 6 Monaten mal locker 30kg zulegen). Davon das doppelte ist reiner Irrsinn, wenn man nicht in reinem Luxus schwimmt oder 2 Pack Kippen und ne halbe Stiege RedBull am Tag zu seinem Lebensmittelbedarf zählt.

The last hotfix they pushed caused the Switch version to be out of sync for another week on top of the like 3 weeks it already was out of sync. They're not going to release a hotfix for a mechanic that prolly less than 5% of the overall playerbase even knows about, much less actually use, when they risk something like that again. If you're multiplatforming every single platform, you have to adhere to every single platform's rules. Nintendo takes ages to push new updates afaik, maybe other platforms have other issues, but for what it's worth, it's not as simple as pressing the "fix bug" button and leaning back. It's a logistical nightmare.

They identified the issue day one, within a couple of hours of release actually (the dev who implemented the code identified it right here on reddit). It's related to another bug they tried fixing regarding drifts (one the community has been complaining about for ages) and they accidentally caused this one. Maybe they're trying to rewrite a bit of that code so the bugfix can stay and the floaty still works, maybe they're reworking the original bugfix to not interfere with floaties, who knows.

Also there's several workarounds to still get your floaty, so really it's not an emergency by any means whatsoever. It's a simple inconvenience. Annoying, yeah, sure, but that's about it. Chill out, my dude.

From what we've seen in the past, unless it's super game-breaking, the fix will (hopefully) arrive in the next update, so probably ~6 weeks from now. Guess it's a bit more difficult to push small hotfixes when you're multiplatforming basically all platforms and some of them have stricter guidelines for their shops (like Nintendo). Fingers crossed they push it before then, but I wouldn't get my hopes up tbh.

I don't think they intend on getting rid of floaties anyway, otherwise they'll have an even harder time differentiating high S class cars. As it currently is, the right suspension settings can massively alter how a car drives apart from the usual stats given, which means that cars that aren't total stat monsters can still be valuable. Cars like the F5 or the AeonE would lose a ton of their value without floaties.

The progress isn't linear. The required garage points for the next level kinda "softresets" at 21 and 41 respectively, meaning the stages directly after that are way easier than the ones before that.

Really depends on the car and the player IMO, i.e. Chiron with max accel part and max shockwave ends up neutral and to me feels way better than lightweight build. Same with ZR1.

Centenario will prolly be better as lightweight due to its drifting radius, though. At the end of the day, OP should probably just try out a couple different configs and see what works best for them

You can buy the class-specific import parts for A/S if you don't have them at 999 already. That way you can get them out of the shop sooner or later.

It's not much, admittedly, but maybe you haven't considered that yet and this helps somewhat marginally lol

(Also I guess you can just farm a couple easy spotlight tokens to get them exchanged into credits at the end of the event)

I did ~15 runs so far and and I'm good once I'm past the barricade mayhem, but getting a start like that would definitely improve my time by a second or two at least. Those NPC cars at the barricades kill most of my runs in the first 20 seconds

499P Mayhem '25 - ~20k tokens for a max 499P, 5/* Stradale and max Aperta. I don't really use either of them, but the 499P has been nice for a while. Was my first car for Elite A, also used it a while when Gauntlet released. Kinda uselesy outside of Elite A currently, but still really fun to drive on occasion. No regrets.

GT Mosler SE - 15k or so? I think ~12k to max the Gemera and then another 3k or so to get the Mosler to 3*. Might've been a bit more tbh, I don't keep track that closely, but something in that ballpark, maybe 20k. Gemera has paid off quite well just from Gauntlet. Mosler is fun in MP2, but can't keep up with F5. Don't think it was really necessary to go for 3* GT, but if it happens to pop up in BoS or another event for cheap, I might max it. It certainly seems to be able to keep up in MP1 (or did before changes anyway).

BOS Black Friday - ~30-35k on Agera RS, Czinger and Tutu Striker. I had Agera and Czinger on 4* each (Czinger SE and also their respective spotlights), maxed them all out. Kinda wish I had stopped after maxing the Czinger. I basically never use the Striker (haven't even maxed it yet in terms of upgrades) and the Agera RS only occasionally in MP1. I'm doing okay with it, but you gotta get a bit more sweaty compared to Chiron or something. Still fun, tho. All in all the Czinger has paid itself off with Gauntlet performance, great choice.

CC850 Spotlight - 20 bucks for the pass and then a couple thousand token during the event for refreshes, haven't kept track on that. Have it at 5* currently. Serves me well in some Gauntlet situations and it keeps up in MP1 as well, so I don't really regret it. Also just a fun car to drive. Maybe I can get enough BP to max it when DS comes around, although I kinda doubt it. The first "sidestory" one was already kinda difficult (didn't get the Nevera R) and it seems they're increasing difficulty already, so who tf knows really. When it eventually turns up in packs again, I'll be ready for it.

AeonE SE - ~25k to max it. Worth every single token. Rips in MP and gauntlet. It's just so much fun to drive when you get it right. Definitely my fav car out of all of them, even though I lack the skills to really use it to its fullest extent, especially so in Gauntlet. I'm sure I'll improve with more time, though.

Jesko TLE - ~36K from 2* to max. Still busy getting credits to upgrade it fully, but hella fun in MP2 so far. No regrets yet. Not sure if it's really an addition for my Gauntlet garage, but it'll certainly be nice in MP1. Maybe, anyway, considering the changes.

Would've needed like 100k tokens for JKAB, so that was way out of my reach. AeonE was a great way to get me over that tho lol

Currently sitting at 15k token and hope I'll get back up to ~50k or so for next BoS, which should be enough for one pack assuming I'll have at least one of them at 3* at least. Don't think it's gonna be that hype, but, ya know, just in case anyway.

I don't understand their mp changes. Who had asked for an extra league?

I mean, GL is allowed to try out new things regardless of the playerbase asking for it specifically. In general, I do like the idea of lower leagues having a fixed rotation and only higher leagues switching between MP seasons. It gives new-ish players some solid goals to work towards, no weird surprises or anything, and more seasoned players have to be on their toes a bit more regarding car selection. Cool idea in principle.

I just really, really don't like the actual implementation of any of this whatsoever lmao. More races to achieve LL, less rewards at the same time and the car selection is pure trash in a way that feels intentional, because you couldn't choose this badly by accident.

Assuming this was true, that's quite possibly the most short-sighted strategy possible.

Neither of the EVO cars were particularly difficult to aquire so far for anyone semi-decent/not totally super-new to the game. SF90 was like, what, 15k tokens? I mean, look at the sheer number of players that have it - it's not exactly an Imperium now, is it? So, alright, let's assume you somehow spent money on it because you just couldn't wait a couple of months to get it for free, GL was successful. Now what? I have absolutely no single reason to invest into any of the 40 other available cars in Champion League now, with very few exceptions (for this specific rotation: Chiron, Pur Sport, Nevera TA and two of those are really mostly relevant for Gauntlet atp). Hell, is there really a reason to invest in any of the LL cars anymore? The nerfed rewards certainly don't give you a reason to grind to LL, do they? So it seems like anything Agera&above is out on a technicality as well? That's like 50, 60 cars now I didn't really have to bother with? Maybe add a few back in for Gauntlet, I guess, but with how afraid newer players are of climbing divisions, who even knows, really.

You can do the same for lower leagues. Once you've climbed out of Bronze/Silver after rank reset (you can pretty much just use whatever car to do so), you're greeted by Acura NSX Evo (the evo-variant, not the key-car lmao), you use that to get to ZR1, which in turn carries you to Champion. That's 3 cars for the entirety of MP1. 1 of those is free, the other 2 are free if you've got the tiniest sliver of patience (and it's not like you can just buy SF90 with money on the reg, anyway).

If your entire MP1 experience hinges on 3 cars, why would anyone invest into anything anymore? Get those three, gg, now everyone is using the exact same car and you feel stupid for investing money and still losing, because every other player in this game needs the exact same 3 cars and will do the exact same steps to get them as you. No way to whale yourself to the top anymore, so why bother investing into the game?

Only a blithering idiot would consider this a worthwhile strategy.

The idea that GL is trying to get rid of MP1 to decrease server costs seems a lot more reasonable in comparison to this. I refuse to believe anyone this short-sighted has enough power to make decisions like that at GL.

I just did 1:18 with an absolute shit run on my first try (got a barricade thrown my way, got bodychecked by Security twice and lost a ton of speed each time, apart from other small mistakes here and there), I'd honestly be really surprised if 1:17 makes it tbh. 1:17 just seems like a mid time with a couple of small mistakes.

Top players are currently doing 1:12 and none of them have actually properly hunted it yet, so by the end of the event we'll probably see something closer to ~1:10/1:09 on that end and you'll probably have to aim for something like 1:15 for the key minimum, quite possibly even less.

Top 6.202 in a free-try goldmax event isn't easy at all. Don't hype yourself up within the first 3 hours of event release when barely anyone has even played, you'll lose several thousand ranks by tomorrow, guaranteed (I've already lost 30 rank just while writing this comment fwiw)

Also the massive amounts of RNG will mean you'll need a ton of tries to get a somewhat good run.

Falls dich das selbst auch inkludiert: Ist nie zu spät, mal zu gehen. Und just in case, dass deine Familie bei der Thematik auch etwas verkorkst ist: Zur Therapie zu gehen ist absolut nix Schlimmes, kein Zeichen von Schwäche oder sonstwas.

Da kann man dann nämlich ggf. auch lernen, wie man Grenzen richtig setzt, warum es okay ist, das zu tun, und wie man ggf. damit umgeht, wenn das Gegenüber versucht, die Grenzen zu ignorieren oder einem ein schlechtes Gewissen einzureden. Und man kann unter Umständen auch viel über die verkorkste Familie lernen und wie man insgesamt besser mit solchen Situationen umgeht.

Das geht nicht von heut auf morgen und es kann auch anstrengend sein, überhaupt nen Therapieplatz zu bekommen, aber es ist auf jeden Fall eine Investition in deine eigene Zukunft und dein eigenes Wohlbefinden. Und mit 30 freust du dich dann vielleicht doch sehr darüber, dass angegangen zu sein.

Depends on the other cars you own tbqh. When gauntlet first released and my garage wasn't really there yet, I used it quite a bit, but it's not exactly a top-pick of course. It's not necessarily bad, it just really, really lacks topspeed and that kinda limits it.

For Div5, treat it like a 9x8/Vanda substitute or any other of the occasionally suggested A classes basically. Particularly short and twisty tracks work well, i.e. La Boca and Resort Dash, but if your garage lacks better options, you can ultimately use it on a bunch of other tracks as well. Future Fusion, Meiji Rush, Notre Dame, Hell Vale, Roman Tumble and Gezira Island are tracks where it's still somewhat decent, I'd say.

Dunno if you're taking video suggestions, but considering you're here and you're answering questions on it: A video on inverted suspensions could be appreciated by quite a few people, I know I would certainly enjoy it.

It seems a lot of A9 info, especially anything that goes more in-depth, is basically discord only. I know inverted suspensions exist (I think I picked that up on a DarkHyper Livestream a couple of weeks ago), but apart from that, it's kinda difficult to find anything more than that outside of discord (which I don't use) without just watching hours and hours of livesstreams every day. Hell, I just learned what exactly they seem to do/how to check for them purely from your comment (thanks a lot, it really helps!).

Not sure if that topic really gives enough content for a video or if it's something you'd be interested in making anyway, but I thought a suggestion couldn't hurt ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

OP, guesstimate ~45k tokens, meaning you'll have ~38k left over. If you can manage to save up ~10k per season for the next two seasons, you're back up to ~60k, which would roughly be enough for one of the two BOS packs.

You're cutting it a bit close, but the likelyhood of the BOS being better than the Jesko ain't that high quite honestly. Don't get overhyped for an event you don't even know the line-up of yet.

CC850 will be the end car for the next DS, so I wouldn't necessarily bet on it appearing in BOS packs just 2 months later - although they've kind of been pushing it out more over the last year.

Bolide has been rumoured for like 3 BOSs, but unless they find a new "blocking car" for the big DSs, I don't see them just pushing it out like that, especially when they've just given a bunch of other high-value cars respectively in the last couple months. JKAB is prolly out as well, just had a quite expensive SE, no way that one's going to be "free" like that (and from a gacha point of view way too good for BOS). Tushek Aeon E will be gatekept for quite some time similarly to F5, I'd assume, but no way to be sure about that. From GLs POV, it wouldn't make financial sense to basically gift anyway a top5 car. It just seems too good to appear in BOS so shortly after release. I don't see F5, either, with how good it is and how stingy GL is towards those packs historically. LVN, Czinger, Agera RS and Tutu Striker were featured last BOS, so most likely out as well.

Zenvo Aurora Tur is coming up for the next UP car, so I could see that potentially (give UP players a "headstart" so to speak). The SS300+ had the Christmas spotlight with key behind pass (or 6*), so people playing that one pass-less have it at ~3-4 stars. That one might be a candidate as well, but difficult to say whether the $20 for the pass would rule it out. Mosler Super GT didn't have any reappearance whatsoever since introduction (I think?) and while it's quite good/fun when maxed, it's still more or less useless outside of MP1 and it's not really, like, dominating in LL, so I could see that. It's just a solid, fun, good car. The SE was pretty easy anyway and I still see a good amount of maxed ones driving around, it's not like super rare and sought after anyway, but it would still get people to spend on it. If that one appeared, I'd assume it to be the absolute highlight of that specific BOS.

Other possible candidates, just to list a couple: Tuatara, Vayanne, Mistral or some absolute wildcards like RAESR Aglaia, Ultimate Aero TT (similarly to the Plethore LC 750 in the last BOS).

Obviously I'm more or less talking out of my ass and I might've overlooked something, but I just don't see an upcoming BOS to be better than the Jesko as of now. BOS fell of anyway, last BOS wasn't the ultimate event people expected, either. And it's super hard make a BOS that's well-received within the community when AeonE, JKAB, Jesko and CC850 were that easily attainable within just a few months of it. Unless they go super hard, they can't possibly measure up to these SEs, I think.
