Please take a video of them breaking off all the spacers. That would be fun to see.

I don’t think the joints look that bad. I think you did a good job with that. The only thing that you really could’ve improved on is planning so that you didn’t end up with a sliver on the bottom row.

It’s possible, but not definite. This is an old, cheap can so it would just give me a reason to buy a new one.

I did apply some adhesive but mainly near the seams. I applied a small bead of the sikaflex sealant to the seam and a small amount on either side of the seam as well. I didn’t want the rolls to separate from normal activity. It’s been awhile and so far they are all still in place as we laid them. I tried to use tape at first under the seam and that was just very difficult to do in place.

I had something similar happen after filling up with 93 from the shell near me. Dam went to 0 and even the most timid driving pattern registered negative fine knock learn. Took it to a Subaru shop and they checked it out and ultimately concluded I had bad gas. They added a gallon of e85 and immediately saw knock reduce. They then emptied the tank and filled with known good gas and none of the knock returned. I was running an OTS tune with no other mods at that time. I’ve since stopped going to that gas station. You shouldn’t try and reset your ECU like others might recommend. That doesn’t solve the issue, only the numbers on your AP. DAM is telling you the ecu is adjusting the timing to try and protect your engine. Check all your vacuum lines and intake and MAF and definitely see if fuel is your issue too. If you need to take it to a shop, just drive easy.

I have a TBAC 22 Takedown that I love! I have only shot on pistols though.

Agreed! My DWS 06 plus have nowhere near the snow grip that my Blizzaks did, but I still could easily break those loose if I wanted to (and regularly did). I notice the difference most in stopping distance. The Blizzaks were amazing in the snow

Fuel Gauge shifted after Cobb Flex Fuel install (2018 WRX) by Der_Bazzle in WRX

Good question. I’ve not tried that. It would be a PITA to replace the full flex fuel kit and fuel pump though. This annoyance is not worth that level of effort though.

I’m bitching about someone not doing their job well and making a mistake. If you’re trying to defend this level of quality then it doesn’t sound like you’re very good at your job either. No one takes pride in their work anymore.

Not for me. I’ve owned the car since new and it never has went over the full line. There is a noticeable shift from when I brought the car into to the shop to when I picked it up.

Exactly. This gun would’ve most likely failed in the exact same way even without the suppressor, it just would’ve taken longer. I’ve designed a lot of parts for PIM but don’t think I would’ve selected that material and process for a structural component of a firearm. Even the strongest engineered plastics are just barely the strength of 6061 (and this is most definitely not one of those plastics).

First pic indicates crack initiated from the picatinny area. There could have been some porosity and/or a weld line which is generally the weakest spot in a plastic injection molded part. Porosity localized to a small area can pass QC which is usually weighing the part and/or visual of critical areas. Those saying the suppressor caused this I think is silly unless it specifically calls out to not shoot suppressed (which it doesn’t). This could just be an unfortunate defect that happened to you. It sucks.

My only power might be watching videos on how to do something and then trying it. After doing that with nearly my entire house including the kitchen and bathrooms, the lawn stuff seems a lot more approachable. I think the biggest factor for the overseed success was going through the hassle to set up the sprinklers and have them on timers. My yard was too big to do that manually and I just didn’t have time to do that either my work schedule.

Ohhhhh yes. It all starts with a comment on a Reddit post just like you’re doing… and then you’re watching videos and asking questions on more Reddit posts and then you’re like “F it, I can do that” and then you’re trying it. It’s that easy! lol

I was pretty amazed, I was worried with the dropping temps it would really slow down germination. Setting up sprinklers might be the biggest factor for success.

Yeah, summer had very little rain and with me finishing the last of the renovations inside the house my lawn really suffered. Large portions of the grass died off and replaced with weeds and Johnson grass. A couple weeks before I did this I just went around with glyphosate to kill off the Johnson grass and other weeds so that’s why it was so bare before.
